Great product. Basically, a plug & play streaming stick with excellent picture quality, extremely user-friendly with a wide assortment of app selections at a reasonable price. good remote, works well, allowed a seamless transition to our new TV which did not have Roku built in. Didn't want to have to learn a new system and this solved the problem.

I bought this for my father, who has an older TV that was technically smart but so old that it didn't have all the common (or even updated apps) nor move at above a snail's pace. I own ROKU products and knew this would be exactly what he needed, as he wasn't really interested in spending the money on an upgraded television. Installation was quick and easy - plug it into a HDMI port, and the power adapter to an outlet and turn on the TV. The Roku's on-screen setup procedure was informative, quick, and easy. Using a combination of the on-screen setup and the Roku website was easy for my dad to follow along with and at the end of the process he was amazed at how quick it was. The only part he wasn't thrilled about was providing payment information to ROKU, even though he wasn't purchasing anything at the moment. Using the device is quick and snappy. The ROKU software's responsiveness and speed is a major plus, as well as its access to every streaming app you could possibly think of. My dad is a big fan of the voice remote and it was very easy for him to input his login information via that method. If you've got a TV - either not smart at all or if you're using your TV's built in software and feel it's not updating to the latest apps or not running a speed that's acceptable, I can't recommend the ROKU streaming stick enough. For the price, even if you *think* your TV's built in streaming software is slow, this is worth trying out.

The Roku Streaming Stick has become my go-to streaming device. It’s compact, easy to set up allows streaming just like the others. However, the standout feature for me is the casting functionality You can cast Windows, Apple, or iOS devices, the Roku Stick makes it easy to cast your screen directly to your TV with minimal effort. This allows easy sharing of content from family and friends phones and devices. The price is great for the capability it offers. No need to spend $$$ for Apple TV. I carry it with me when i travel because its small and allows me to take my streaming content to hotels and to friend/family's TVs. Its perfect for sharing videos, presentations, or just mirroring your screen for a larger display.

From opening the box to watching movies was about an hour. East set-up and works great.

Got rid of home satellite service and this device has been great. We have 2 different Roku devices in our house and they are awesome. Service is better than what we had before, set up was very easy. Getting to know the ins and outs was not what I’ve expected but have now gotten the hang of using our Roku. If I could give a higher rating we would have.
