I put this Roku streaming stick on an older tv to access all the streaming apps and it does the job well. The wireless connection on it works great too.

I have a roku ulta for my tv and I needed something to attach to our projector as the projector brand no longer supported Netflix. The roku ulta is a little box that is attached the tv and I like the ease of using Roku that I looked into what other products Roku had that would be compatible for projectors. Both the ulta and the roku streaming stick worked with the projector. I chose the streaming stick as it is a smaller unit that just attaches to the back of the projector HDMI spot. It was easy to hook up and start using. The only issue is that the roku controller was asking for the tv name and as it is not a tv or one of the devices prelisted in the registering the use of the volume controlls on the roku controller do not work but that is not a big problem. I would recommend using a roku stick as it is very simple to use and the roku programs along with their live channels are great and you can always find something to watch.

My older smart tv was operating very slowly. Purchasing the Roku is a great alternative to buying an entirely new tv. Very easy to use.

I purchased this during a black Friday sale and must say that for the price ($29.99 when purchased) this is an amazing value. I bought this to replace an aging 2017 era Roku Premiere 4K (non HDR version) which was starting to feel sluggish and not as responsive as it once did. The Streaming Stick 4K is much more compact (a dongle versus a countertop box) and can be plugged directly into the HDMI port so you don't even need an HDMI cable to use it. Having said that, I needed an HDMI extender cable, which is not included in the package. Roku does offer you that you can order one for free though, but if you ask me they should have just included it in the box. Other than that minor gripe, this is a really great value for the money, even at it's $49.99 retail price. Do try and get it though when on sale as the value is just way better. Speaking of features and usability the Streaming Stick 4K offers the updated Roku enhanced remote (the mid tier model, aka the one without the always on mic and rechargeable battery) which can also control the power and volume controls on your TV. This is great because on one of the televisions I have uses the Roku as a pseudo cable box (we have Spectrum and use the Roku app) so not having to look for and use multiple remotes to control the TV is pretty nice. The UI is typical Roku, so if you've used a Roku in the past it's pretty much the same as before (NOT a bad thing!). If this is your first time using Roku just know the UI is pretty basic but again, that can be a good thing, especially for folks who may not be tech savvy. All in all I'm giving this Roku 5 stars because of it's value overall. It's a typical Roku experience but for the money it's tough competition for the likes of Apple TV (of which I also own), especially when you can get the Apple TV+ app on Roku. If you're looking for a streaming box/stick and are on a budget you can't go wrong with Roku!

I will keep this review relatively short. Roku has the best operating system for streaming. It's not really close in my opinion. This 4K streaming stick is worth the extra $$ over the more basic stick just for the remote. This one has basic TV controls (power, volume, etc.) built in and is super easy to set up to control your TV. It is such a pleasure to not have to fumble back and forth between remotes constantly. Our house is not large, so I can't comment on whether the Wi-Fi range is better than the basic stick or not, but I never have any problems with the Wi-Fi slowing down or cutting out. I do have one minor complaint, though. Maybe I just got a bad one, but my remote really chews through the batteries. I end up replacing the batteries multiple times per year, with relatively low usage in the room it's in compared to TVs in other rooms. But, I love the remote and consider it a fair trade-off.

Easy to install, and works great for our office lobby. i was plugged in and watching TV in minutes. Easy to add apps and program too. Remote works great and picture is great! i have 2 at my house and 3 at the office.

This Roku stick works very well. I especially like the voice feature which also works very well. I don't care much for all the trial offers which require a credit card. Seems like there's always something for sale in your face. The major exception seems to be the Roku channel which has lots of free stuff. This stick seems to have much more to offer than my old original model Roku which I put away. I wondered prior to purchase if the remote signal would require line of sight to the stick. It does not. My old Roku was very picky about line of sight and range.

Got this as an upgrade to an older Roku and it was worth it. Faster and a solid connection with a voice remote that controls my TV volume and on/off as well. Add to the fact that Roku has an Xfinity streaming app and this a winner. I use it on a TV that I move around the house a bit and it’s small and light so it works well in that capacity.

Hi ! To begin with having the Roku connected by a wire not Wifi gives the strongest signal ! I use the headset or earbuds that is easily connected to the Roku Remote Control. Also the voice remote is very advantageous for all ages enabling easer and faster operation of the desired commands. The price is commensurate with the quality of this product. In closing i am extremely satisfied with all of the Roku products i have purchased.

We love our 4k Roku. We purchased when on sale. The remote controls our tv volume and on/off. We dropped cable and use the Roku to stream tv. When we went on vacation we took it with us and when we plugged in just had to input that WIFI password and we had all our channels. We got a couple more 4k sticks and gave them as Christmas presents. Would recommend

I love the Roku Streaming Stick so much that I bought a second one for another TV. You can’t beat the low price! It is so easy to install and use. I like having just one remote for turning on the TV, adjusting the sound, and finding the right program to watch. This is one of the best things I have bought!

Works awesome, just like having a Roku TV. It made my old TV feel like a smart TV. Got all my subscriptions added quickly and easily. Remote and device work great.
