I recently switched from an expensive cable service to YouTube TV and needed some way to access and utilize the service. This device was easy to set up and operate.

We canceled our monthly tv subscription and purchased several Roku sticks for our televisions. They were easy to set up and we are extremely pleased with the variety of free programs available. We bought 2 more as gifts for Christmas.

Cheaper than Apple's product yet Roku's 4K Stick device seems as easy to use as our friend's Apple streaming device. Also, Roku's customer service has been superb and graciously helpful.

This is a high performance streaming stick. I have several Ultra models that are connected via CAT6, but honestly I don't see much of a difference. This particular model is far more responsive than the Google TV that came with my mid-range TV, and so I choose to "stick with the stick". The Roku interface is kind of crude compared to Google TV and Apple TV, but the picture looks great, it's simple to use, and native AirPlay support is great.

Purchased and installed on older samsung tv rather tha. Replacing the tv which was a high end model . Tb apps were limited. Easy-to-use and install.

If all you want is 2 ch stereo sound, then just plug it into an HDMI receptacle on the back of your TV, and you're good to go. However, if you are after 5.1 ch surround sound, your TV may not be able to pass this signal to your AVR. My TV from 2015 could not. (Maybe a brand new TV can do this. Check the specs for DD+.) If you have a fairy new AVR that can process a DD+ signal, then plug the Roku directly into your AVR. Then [**important**] do a factory reset of the Roku to update all the apps. After I did this the Roku delivered magnificent sound from Netflix, HBOmax, Disney+, and Peacock. (Haven't tried any others.) One little problem - about every third time I turn everything on, I have to re-pair (i.e. link up) the Roku remote with the Roku. I have it powered from a USB receptacle on the AVR which means it goes off when the AVR goes off. Maybe if I plug it, instead, into my power strip (it includes an adapter for this), it will stay on continuously, and this won't be a problem. Haven't tried this yet. But once it activates and links with the remote, it works great.

I love the Roku, it works great and offers items I was surprised to find. The only thing I disliked was having to, without options, add a payment method. I never want to purchase anything, and should I decide to, I would have rather entered the necessary payment method at the time of my choosing.

I love my ROKU stick. I now have access to so many channels that my older tv couldn't support. Takes some time to figure out some bugs when it stops working. It just needs rebooting and to reconnect remote. But I love this item. Worth every penny spent.

We love our roku streaming stick. This is our second stick and I was able to simply sign the second stick into the same roku account as the first stick, so it was very easy. Now both our tvs have streaming capability.

This Roku stick has a great balance of speed, resolution, and price. It is simple, and a snap to set up.

Great way to watch television. Happy with how easy it is to work and will continue to use this product.

Roku stick is so much better than fire stick. Much easier to install and use. The voice remote is excellent as well.

Great for apps that new smart tvs cant get. Very helpful when you are looking for a show from overseas and you cant find it.

Purchased this item in order to get various apps on an older tv. It’s worked great and is easier to use for apps than our newer tv that has apps built in!

I like this remote better than the express model. This one has a volume button on the side.

Wow! This is way faster than my 5+ year old Ultra. No usb port, no problem. My tv has some.
