This one has a better menu and easier to navigate. They only downside is that the screen turns off automatically when you turn off the TV. This was not the case in the older version.

We like the responsiveness to remote commands even as the stick is hidden behind the TV set. The Roku Channel has plenty of good free content, and we also were gladly surprised that we can tune in to live TV channels through Roku TV.
