My mom can't run cables into the bedroom, so I got her this and another for the living room. It controls the TV power and volume, has streaming service applications, and brings consistency to all the different TVs in the house.

Because we use xFinity our Apple TV boxes did not work so we went with Roku. These Streaming Sticks work fine until they don't. Over the past several years or so we have had to replace three of them (we have four t.v.s) despite light use (no children here, only the elderly) so their longevity in our experience leaves much to be desired.

I have a Roku in every room that I have a TV. The only thing I do not like about Roku is that every few years you have to buy a newer model or they will phase out what you can watch which is why I give it a moderate value rating.

I switched all my TVs from Fire stick to Roku. Fire stick WiFi reception was bad in some TVs further from the modem. Roku has a lot better reception and more easily downloaded channels. I've found more or the shows I like on Roku. And much easier to use

We are able to watch so many programs we were unable to watch without the Roku. It’s so easy to install and use.

It has a very simple design compared to the traditional TV remote that has many buttons that are never used and this makes it very easy for young children to use in the car without needing help.

It works perfect for an old tv we wanted to put outside so we could stream sports and not have to buy a smart tv.

Replaced an existing ROKU stick that was dropping network connection. No problems since installing the new one.

The stream is good, when the remote works. There is a common problem with the remote directional arrows. The right arrow needs LOTS of pushing to work. Quite honestly it is so bad sometimes I just stop watching TV. Apparently it is a common problem. No fix that I know of… However, when I am able to get the station I want, the streaming stick works fine.

Pretty good quality and good picture would really recommended if you want to save money with cable

My old Roku went kaput and I replaced it with the same model.

Pretty easy to use and works fine. Selection of free channels or movies large, if not particularly exciting.

Turns your older dumb TV into a smart TV with an HDMI input. I find the Roku platform to be really good over the competition and setup is quick and painless.
