My wife and I are trying to reduce the price of our Comcast. We bought two Roku Streaming stick 4K. So far we are very happy with the purchase.

The stick was a bit problematic to activate and make ready for use. Once I got past the issues, all is well. I used it a bit as it will "live" in the guest room of our home. I'm certain it will fill the needs of guests.

The installation was not as simple as indicated in the instructions. The remote was pre-linked to the device from the factory. Had to refer to Google to find the fix. Good thing that I was installing it and not my aging mother!!!! After that, thinks have been okay for my mom.

Cool device. Pushed to it by Comcast itself who stated "we don't want to be in the device rental business; get Roku (or Firestick) and use the Xfinity Stream App (although that app is in "beta")." So far so good. Remote needs lights to see keys if watching in the dark/night.

Ok I guess, I use Roku now, it’s a preference. Fire stick is locked.

I have enjoyed using my Roku. I have almost cut the cord due to all the free movies to watch.
