I believe something happened with the newest update but Roku can't figure it out. They told me I can't use a hotspot. I have unlimited so why would i pay $80 verizon or comcast when I can pay less than $50. My Amazon Firestick works just fine. I'm done with Roku for good.

Posted .Hi Drew, we don't typically recommend using mobile hotspot connections for streaming, but rather recommend the use of a home WiFi network if available for the best streaming experience.
You might try performing a network reset on your phone as this will erase any stored WiFi passwords. On the Roku, also perform a network reset, found on the Settings/System/Advanced system settings>Network connection reset menu. We hope this helps!

It rocks to be able to plug one of these babies in and have immediate access to so many streaming services, and to mirroring and Chromecast services as well. Very easy to install, setup and use.
