Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The Roku streaming device is so useful we actually use it to bypass the onboard smart TV menu system and software on our new Sony smart TV. The Roku device is easier to use than Sony's and the Roku menu is simpler. The only downside to the Roku system is that the remote controls can be a bit erratic on occasion-albeit that might be user error.

I feel we great a better picture with the Roku then with the smart tv build in apps.

So easy to set up and let us gain access to all the apps we wanted. our Samsung smartTV is too old to update (2017). Roku saved us from either not using apps or buying a new TV.

Not a Happy Camper

The Roku is slow to load pages and very slow to load shows. It also locks up frequently. It does have a couple of cool features and I like the remote better than the Fire Stick but the constant locking up and being slow is really making me regret my choice.
