Too invasive

This is the third Roku device I’ve purchased and this is the first one to require too much information to activate and use. I have enjoyed using previous versions.

To bypass adding a payment method during Roku setup, you need to navigate to the payment information screen and look for a small, often easily missed, option to "Skip, I'll add later" or similar wording. This option allows you to create a Roku account without immediately linking a credit card or PayPal. You can then complete the rest of the setup process without providing payment information. I also bought a Tablo 4th Gen 4 tuner OTA streaming player in order to watch from the antenna. Roku had an update and killed my ability to watch OTA on 2 tv's and I am outside of the return window. I would've given a 5 but not going to do it. Now I will have to purchase 2 Firesticks to do what Roku can't.

Unfortunately, there is no Spectrum App you can install
