Posted .Hello there, thanks for sharing. Help has arrived! It's important to note that all Roku devices should have a stable internet connection to avoid a playback issue. To check, you can Press Home>Network>Check Network Connection. Additionally, make sure that your device has the latest software version. If the streaming device is connected to the TV, try plugging it directly into the power source to check if the device is receiving sufficient power. Also, please try to do a system restart. They work when they want to because the signal isn't strong enough to go behind tv screen. Very frustrating to throw $150 away as I can't return them in spite of never using them.

There is an HDMI error message almost every time we start the unit. I tested the HDMI connection with the older ROKU from the den and it works fine.

The big problem is the sounds varies greatly from channel to channel. For example, you can barely hear Hulu through the Roku, but it is fine through the Samsung app.
