    Streaming Stick is questionable

    We like Roku, but the Streaming Stick design doesn't fit some of our TVs that have horizontal HDMI port connections.

    It is hard to get what you would like to see on this stick. May be there is a better receiver in Roku but they need to explain more. Also, software update and linking to internet if you change the service provider is not that intuitive.

    Makes dumb TVs smart

    I have an old 24” TV that ive had for years and it fully revitalized the Tv and the experience using it. The roku app also supports bluetooth so i can use my headpphones to watch whatever i want on a bigger screen

To resolve this, we recommend unplugging your Wi-Fi router for a minimum of 60 seconds. In addition, perform a system restart on your Roku device by navigating to Home>Settings>System>System Restart.     The product lagged a lot straight out of the gate. I contacted support and was told the product had updates the manufacturer was sorting through within 24 hours. I waited 2 days just because I like to give a little leeway and it still was not operating smoothly.

    Thought this device could be used with an ethernet cord, but found out it can only be used with wifi. For that reason I returned it.

    I bought this several months ago and it is starting to not work. Unresponsive to the remote and delayed response when using the remote. I just took a look at the roku stick that plugs into the TV and see that it has a wrapper on it that says reconditioned. They absolutely presented this as brand new and even had all the packaging perfectly done like it was brand new. I reviewed my purchase and it still doesn't say anything about reconditioned or refurbished when I bought it. It was an online purchase pickWed up at a store.

    The remote doesn't always work once you press on. On has to be pressed a second time. The volume malfunctioned. I put it on mute and had a difficult time getting it to return to sound. I put in new batteries, but the issues persisted.

    We've had two of this product and several of the ROKU Express models. Overall, ROKU products are a pain in the butt! The stop working, they re-boot themselves and I've had to replace the remotes. Though it's the least amount of trouble when compared to the FireStick. Not one that I would personally recommend.

    The last two streaming sticks I purchased have not been the greatest. No sure if they are not making them as well but I am having a lot of technical issues with the last two I purchased. Picture not showing up and I have to unplug and plug back up to get the picture when using the Roku. Could not return to store after 14 days so I was stuck with products.

    I bought this because its wireless connection allowed me to place a TV on a wall without calling the cable company or renting another box from them. So simple to connect a boomer can do it.

    Constant audio dropouts. Have several Roku devices. This one has audio issues that im hoping will be fixed w sw updates

    Actually works less effectively than the previous Roku streaming device I gave away, though this new one runs cooler. The main problem is the volume control; it is unreliable and volume gets stuck and will not move up or down. This is a known problem.
