Even though the Tv I am using this stick on is a smart TV, the streaming is much faster and better using this ROKU stick.

Cannot get abc a lot of local channels. Support is non existent

Remote Control didn't work. Can't do too much typing

I purchase 2 of these. Both have the same problem. When the tvs are turned on the HDCP error screen comes up when I try to stream YoutubeTV. I unplug the sticks and plug them back in and the error goes away. I have tried all of Rokus trouble shooting. Nothing fixes it. One tv is LG other is Samsung. 5 year old Roku works great. Many complaints on Roku website for the same problem. No solution that I can find

The Best Buy rep was very good on going over the different features of Roku, which I bought when my regular service Verizon, DROPPED ONE AMERICA NEWS. But after a week or so, Roku changed One America to a paid service, rather than what was advertized as free. Further ROKU gets a ZERO rating in itself. First you can not fast forward on commercials; second if you watch part of something, the show may not be there when you go to see the end of it and even if it is there, the system does NOT keep taps n where you ended, so you have to watch it all again or try to skip to the right spot. Their selection of shows would need improvement to get to the Blockbuster level ! DO NOT BUY!

Disappointing. Would not pair with Receiver or tv sound. Would have to use two remotes to watch tv which is unacceptable. My Xfinity Flex box does pair completely and I only need their remote to do the job. Will use the Roku in my bedroom for light use.

It gets WAY TOO HOT and it crapped out 6 days after I bought it. I exchanged it for another. We'll see if the replacement is any better.

I was very disappointed with this product. I was planning to replace the Amazon Fire TV stick with this streaming unit but it didn't work out. I have an AV receiver that controls the surround sound for my TV which I had connected successfully and easily with the Fire stick. I tried for several hours to do the same with the Roku but without success. I tried several suggestions that I got from Google, but my Denon AV unit is too old (about 11 years). Apparently the Fire stick found the Denon without any prompting from me but I could not find any way for the Roku to see it. Without the AV receiver connected, the TV sound control works fine. But, that is not what I wanted.

This beats apple tv and amazon tv hands down. Its perfect for older people who cant stand using Xfinitys GUI.

I love these Roku devices. They are great quality and a great way to update an older tv to a streaming tv.

Not very compatible with Alexa for most voice commands

I Have Really Good Internet And I Don't Understand Why My Brand New Roku Keeps Going Offline. Could Anyone Help Me Out With This Issue.

Our previous Roku s worked fine this unit seems to not connect to the TV. There is an HDMI error message almost every time we start the unit. I tested the HDMI connection with the older ROKU from the den and it works fine.

The new sticks overheat quickly and doesn’t last long. Make sure you get the insurance. My first roku stick lasted 5 years. After this, I will not purchase again.

Roku does it again! Every time we need to connect a tv we just pop in a Roku and boom there it is

Over all as good as any Roku device. The big problem is the sounds varies greatly from channel to channel. For example, you can barely hear Hulu through the Roku, but it is fine through the Samsung app.

Never had Roku before - but a great way to get away from xfinity boxes and save on monthly fees
