I decided upon the ROKU platform and, upon consultation with the BB staff, chose the streaming stick. Due to other related home issues, I obtained BB tech support, who fully and patiently explained the mechanics of the ROKU system. I have had it about two weeks, and so far, am very happy with it and the $$$ saved by deleting cable TV from my monthly expense list.

I chose this particular model because of plug in network connection- but we have the Wi-Fi only one also which works great too.

At first it wasn't communicating but I pressed the reset button and then it worked okay. I haven't used it much yet so I am new to how to navigate through every thing. So far I am watching all free TV probably because I am a DIRECTV subscriber. What I am doing is making a list of movies that I don't see on DIRECTV anymore. I like this stick because I can easily move it from one tv to my other tv

Posted .Hi Myoko, thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. In the meantime, please try this simple step: carefully unplug the power cable from your Roku player and allow it to cool down. Ensure it has good ventilation and is not in an enclosed space. You can also try installing a free HDMI extender to move your Roku away from the back of your TV.
