The lower-priced media player did not adhere to the TV for very long so a friend suggested I upgrade to this one, and I'm pleased I did.

It works just fine, but little slow. Have to wait a minute or two before you can scroll through streaming options. Sometimes the features don't work, like the back feature, returning to the previous channel. The multi screen feature seems to show four screens, but only two are available.

The remote will stop working intermittently until the batteries are pulled and reinserted. The remote was replaced under warranty by Roku. It worked for a few weeks, then started doing the same thing, but not as bad. The remote also has a different texture to the plastic. The Roku itself does appear to run a bit faster, but also sometimes resets unexpectedly. Maybe the stick itself is bad? I will probably contact Roku again.

Soooo easy to hook up and get going. But because I'm running Dish and a Onkyo receiver i had to route things a little different.

So easy to use and now no cable boxes. Got the last 2 with black friday pricing. Great deal. The new ones connect to the internet alot faster.
