While I have a Fire stick, I decided to try out the Roku as well. It does have certain apps available that the Fire does not. Certain cable tv providers allow their apps on the Roku, thus saving monthly payments of "rental" of their cable box. The roku has worked as advertised and so far there are no problems. Why it cost more than the Fire stick I do not know but right now both work fine. I will try to see the difference between the two in ongoing investigation.

Love this for streaming Spectrum without a cable box. Roku is the only device that works with spectrum to eliminate the cable box. All the other streaming apps work great as well. The best thing is that the remote is Infrared so no need to point it at the tv for changing the channel.

Have a room for my guests and love the guest mode. They can log in with their own streaming accounts and it will sign them out once they leave. Nice and convenient. I give it a 4 star because I wish all this devices would connect with the 0.5 amp USB-As that come with the TVs. Or maybe TVs could include a 1 amp USB-A. I would really like to choose my platform for streaming, not having to buy a smart TV depeding on the OS. Anyway, this stick connects to wifi really well and delivers a great quiatlity and experience.

We love the Roku streaming stick because we get a lot of free shows. We also can get ESPN Unlimited now on our television with Roku and were able to cancel the ever-increasingly expensive HULU.

Easy setup! Really helpful with the Long-Range Wi-fi since I have satellite internet service.

Got this stick so we could stream Xfinity on the boat. Unfortunately, Xfinity requires you to be connected to your home WiFi for their app to work. No fault of the stick. Ended up using the stick in the guest bedroom where we never placed an Xfinity box. Since that’s at home, it works great, and I’m not paying to rent yet another Xfinity box. I may buy more of these and replace more boxes at home because it pays for itself in months….

My go to streaming stick. Use this Roku on all our TVs. The stick itself gets very good reception and you have no trouble streaming 4K. The express units tend to lose connection after awhile and have to be rebooted. This never. The remote gives you full control over the TV and volume, along with a voice function for searching.

Roku streaming stick works as description says it would.

We love our new Roku! We had bought an insignia tv during Black Friday but it didn’t have Roku, so we waited for our rewards to come in the following month and the Roku was on sale so we got for free. It was a win win for us. Great apparatus for our Spectrum, Netflix, and mush more.

Great product. Easily transformed both of my 15-year-old televisions to "Smart TVs" for a fraction of the cost.

I was skeptical at first, because I bought this because my cousin had one. Now I am totally sold! I am enjoying free movies from all different apps. I have saved a list so long now that I’ll be surprised if I can get through them all within the next two years. Very happy!

We are so pleased with the roku with voice remote. It makes it so easy to use our favorite apps and "jump" straight to what we want using voice commands.

I finally had to buy a replacement for my 5 yr old roku, this is after in the same period where I'd replaced my Fire stick 3 times. I'm happily making Roku my streamer permanently. It last and has all the apps and can control the t.v. Bonus the remote has headphone connections for solo watching.
