Have had to unplug it and reboot 3 times. One more and I take it back. Great when it's working, but....BTW, if you have a sound bar, the volume control on the Roku doesn't work.

Please know that your Roku remote is designed to control volume and power for your TV. It cannot directly control other devices connected to your TV, such as an audio/video receiver (AVR) or soundbar.
However, your TV may be able to issue volume commands to your AVR or soundbar using a technology called HDMI CEC. In these cases, your new remote can indirectly control volume for your AVR or soundbar. For this to work, all your devices must be connected via HDMI, and all devices must support HDMI CEC and have this feature enabled. Learn more here: https://support.roku.com/article/360034303013.

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Marginal workability, non-ergonomic remote, intermittent functions, intermittent memory and redirects, has free links to every streaming app, however, those links are free with commercials and only for 30 days at which time it will be almost impossible to cancel auto-bill services (you can do all these apps without the ROKU links). Free movies are decades old with commercials, all free movies can be seen anywhere else including over the air anytime without ROKU. All and all a complete waste of moneyed a scam

Google OS on Smart TV is less than awful

After my service provider (Spectrum) ran many diagnostics they suggested my solution was to bypass Google and purchase an independent ROKU device, working through that to bypass Google. I will hook that up tomorrow. The knowlegeable Customer Service re[s at Best Buy were not surprised with my issues!

If your remote has a pairing button, press and hold it on the back for 20 seconds. If your remote doesn't have a pairing button, press and hold the Back and Home buttons for 20 seconds.
