Better than Google TV

This was very annoying. The Roku device eliminated this problem. It was easy to install.

I have an older LGtv that doesnt get updated much anymore so having this roku to be able to watch shows on current apps is nice.

It's good but battery life issue for remote

The only issue I have is the battery life on trlhe remote. I only get able 3 months before I need to replace it. Not sure it's because its using Bluetooth instead of IR to control the device.

Roku Streaming Stick

I also like the Roku better than the Fire Stick. I don't get as much buffering and I don't have to restart my modem nearly as much.

Setting up new account was a bit slow. This unit was on sale and was less expensive than older models.

I find I get better, quicker responses. This is my second one for the same TV --with the last one being over 8 years old, and it did not want to 'update' anymore. Good value for price paid.
