Too bad none of the quality TV manufacturers embed Roku, but this is an inexpensive way to get the interface we want on a good TV

Roku hasn’t steered us wrong yet.

We haven’t made the jump to smart TVs because honestly our TVs are still good. We started with Roku about 10 years ago and just replaced the original setup.

Great streaming stick!

I was able to turn in a cable box after installing this Roku streaming stick. I can get all of my channels from my cable provider by using their app on Roku. It’s great!

Turns an Old TV into a Smart TV

I ditched my cable and needed to be able to stream on my TV in the spare room. This lets me connect to my streaming service on this older TV. I did not provide credit card info to Roku since I'm not purchasing any content from them. At the bottom of the set up menu you can select to add credit card info later. I am using it to connect to my Fubo and Netflix accounts.

Roku streaming stick a must for shrewsbury

My new remote control as the town has gone to streaming period there's nothing intuitive about it. The upper left hand arrow provides you a guide when you turn your t. V set on, you must be an input h. DM, I, and then you have to switch to the roku. Remote with the home button period you can scroll up or down a single channel with the upper down buttons period the volumes are on the right side completely of the remote. You might actually turn the mute button on Many times by mistake. this does the job period but it's not labeled ckearly like a remote. It is a small remote to use but so far, for 8 weeks, it has done the job reliably. This came with batteries.
