Much easier to use than expected. My only issue is the stick gets pretty warm. I didn't feel comfortable having this plugged into the back of my TV for this reason. I don't have many HDM's so I purchased a switch box and use an HDMI cable to attach to TV and this solved the issue. My HDMI's are not easy to reach so it's not convenient to unplug when not in use or to hook up my Blu Ray player. I don't use Roku stick all of the time and just use for occasional streaming. Has worked great for that.

Great Black Friday Deal. Purchased so we could watch Paramount+ on a fairly dumb TV. Wish we'd purchased sooner. SO many options of free things to watch. Don't let the "must have credit card" when you create an account scare you. It's only there, should you want to watch something with a fee.

I bought the Roku to smarten up an 11 year old TV in our new basement. With just an internet connection, I've added a bunch of streaming services and live TV (via YouTube TV). So far, I'm very happy with my Roku, it's easy to use, pretty intuitive, and it didn't break the bank.

Over the past couple of years I've been hearing the term "streaming" thrown around like I'm supposed to automatically know what it is. After speaking with Best Buy Sales personnel, I recently decided to have "streaming" (via the Roku Streaming Stick) on my new Sony TV.... and absolutely love it. Would never go back to basic cable.

The Roku streaming stick allowed me to reconnect with Netflix. I really appreciate the help I received from the Best Buy employee. Best Buy, a Minnesota-based company, is a great company. - Jim

Worked out of the box in existing account, and recognized our channels. While on vacation were able to sign in on it in the hotel and watch our shows as usual. Sound and picture quality were great, and streamed with no lag. Perfect for travel. Best buy was more pricey than Amazon but got it price matched without issue.

Super easy to connect to a TV. Super easy to download all of my favorite apps. Love my Roku stick. Much better than fire stick.

I bought this because I was not happy with my fire stick and Amazon’s response. With this one you not only get the normal streaming but I am also watching my cable channels through it, thus, eliminating the need for the cable remote.

I bought this Roku and it works perfectly. The instructions to set it up were clear.

Had an older model. This model is so much quicker to load.

When I switched back to Spectrum, I learned that I could use this Roku instead of Spectrum's device. At $40, it sure beats spending $11 a month. Learing curve for this is not bad at all. But I do wish it had a number pad for changing channels.

This item works but is not compatible with the tv I use

Cut the Cord finally. We bought 3 of these and have had no problems so far. Started with a Magnavox Roku TV and have enjoyed it for 3 years, so thought the Roku sticks for the other TV's was the way to finally get rid of the EXPENSIVE cable bill that went up AGAIN! We bought the $40 models.

Product is exvellent. Very easy to set up & much faster.

Hope to test this after the new year. I love Roku as a product because of the amount of channels is available and some local stations
