Seems to work as well as my Roku 3. I bought a Samsung Smart TV. Wish I had not paid the extra for it as I found out that the "smart" function is so much more limiting than the Roku. I would give the Roku stick 5 stars, but it did not come with a little HDMI extension cable to allow the Roku stick to be installed in tight spots. My TV is mounted to the wall and the HDMI input is in the back. I could not plug the stick in because there was not enough room between the TV and the wall. Luckily, I had a small extension cable that I could use. Roku should provide this as I am sure it happens a lot. I would have been very disappointed if I did not already have one!

I decided on the Roku streaming stick over the Google Chrome Cast and I'm glad I did. It costs a few dollars more but works easily and performs well. It's simple to install and the remote facilitates the menu effortlessly.

Bought this item bc I wad unable to run my direct tv service unto my patio space. It had worked out well. Easy user interface, easy setup and fairly reliable. Many apps ate extra, however if you are a cable subscriber you can access many network apps for free. One thing I will say is that the remote likes to stop working at times. This however can be easily circumvented by downloading the roku remote app which works better anyway. Also the screen mirroring feature ( which is still in beta) had worked flawlessly for me. Happy watching

Device has lots of options and nice to be able to stream onto big screen instead of watching on tablet. Easy setup and easy to use. Can move from tv to tv or take over to a friends house. Very reasonably priced as well!

I bought this as a gift for my parents so I only use it when I'm visiting them, but I love it and so do they. It's so much faster than the ROKU2 that I have. And it doesn't need to plug into the wall. It's awesome!

Less than going out for sushi and it just keeps on giving! I purchased this because I have a little media projector that I usually plug into an iPad or iPhone with saved movies to view on the 9 foot screen. I thought... what if I can watch all our Netflix and Amazon Prime content on a massive screen too, without unplugging the regular Roku and dragging all the cables blah blah blah. This thing is futuristic in it's brilliance. I love it. It works great in the HDMI plug in my projector, and even in the back of my kitchen TV for that matter. And the price! Oy! Such a good deal. Seriously!

Very simple to set up, and provides quite a selection of channels to install. Of course, performance and reliability does depend on which ISP services your residence, but overall, very pleased with the purchase.

I got this for travel and for my 2nd tv and it's perfect! Easy to hook up in hotels so I can keep on binging my favorite shows and nice to have on hand at home. Great quality, works well, highly recommended.

i have the roku2, the chromecast and the amazon fire, and now the roku streaming stick, the stick is nicely hidden away in the back of the tv, and it works as good or better than any of the other units that I have for ease of use to stream movies from Netflix and amazon, also has more apps for watching than all the rest, love it.

I bought this stick for my second TV, it is fast like my other Roku 3,easy to set up, lot of apps. and options for TV channels, Works great like Roku 3,all you need high speed internet. it works great...

This was my first roku stick. I've purchased 2 boxes previous . And this was a replacement for one of them. Very simple to install and use. We're very happy with this purchase.

Love the roku. Easy to follow instructions for set up and use. I do think the remote for it needs so improvement, it is not always responsive. I have recommended it to several friends.

Bought this to add to our 19" TV in the kitchen. I like that it just direct connects to the HDMI port and power from either the TV's USB port or nearby outlet with the included power adapter. Setup was easy. LIke some of the other reviewers I did have some initial issues with the remote not pairing with the device, but I removed the batteries, replaced them and held the remote control reset button and haven't had an issue since the first time it glitched. The only minor detraction is that the wireless receiver is not dual band like the Roku 3. It will only receive on the 2.4 GHz wireless band which usually has a slower throughput. However, I have not had any lagging or video degradation because of this.

Extremely pleased with the Roku Streaming Stick. Very easy install and Has worked flawlessly. Perfect 1st step for a NON-techie. I did a lot of Research on line and it certainly lives up to it's reviews.

I love this streaming stick. It is very easy to use and is small enough to hide behind the television. Just make sure you have a decent wifi connection speed because it definitely makes a difference.

I got this on sale for $39.99. I will say that I prefer Chromecast over Roku, but I wanted to try out SlingTV, so Roku was required. Setup took about 8 minutes. The remote control is helpful when using the SlingTV service, but I ultimately returned the item as SlingTV only allows once device to stream. I would consider this product in the future if and when Sling TV allows streaming from multiple devices simultaneously.

I am a cord cutter. I was using a Chromecast to stream Netflix and apps to my TV but ran into a problem when I took out an Amazon Prime subscription only to learn that Amazon and Google don't play nice together. I could stream Prime in mirror mode but it left my phone on all the time and everything that appeared on my phone appeared on my screen. Not cool. So, I ran to Best Buy and did some research and came home with this ROKU stick. Much better. Now I do not need my phone at all to stream video. The ROKU stick keeps all the apps on its own and uses a dedicated remote to surf between apps. I use it primarially for Netflix and Prime but also to stream live news and sports events when available

So far I've enjoyed using the Roku stick. It was easy to set up and the apps available are good. I have yet to compare it to the apple TV 2015 but plan on doing so soon.

I love this product due to the amount of apps it has, the ease of use and set up. It is plugged into the HDMI and USB inputs so it is hidden and no wires.

Roku itself is an amazing product all the features that you are looking for in a streaming stick is there. The only problem I have seen with it, is the remote can be slow to respond and you end up going into screens you didn't want to go in. The roku app lets you use your phone as a remote though and there is no delay. Overall though the Roku is an excellent product.
