An AWESOME product for your second, travel or a first ROKU device! We got this for our bedroom TV. Just plug into HDMI and USB power and create your ROKU account if you don't already have one. If you do have one it will automatically add your existing channels. Just setup Wi-Fi and your ready to go. When you travel, just unplug from HDMI, USB and plug into HDMI and USB power and connect to Wi-Fi and you're all set with ALL your channels from home! I have my wireless hotspot already in the Stick so if there is no Wi-Fi available it automatically connects to my cellular hotspot. And what's most important is My Wife Loves It!!!

Discreet, small device and very easy to set-up. Wanting Netflix for a long time, but did not want any additional boxes or multiple wires; Roku stick delivers what it promises.

This is so cute and small and very convenient. It will turn any standard hdtv into a smart tv. Very easy to install and setup too and requires little effort and no time at all.

After years of using game consoles for all of my streaming needs, I decided to spend the small amount it took to get the Roku Streaming Stick. The device provides a large assortment of content which is all easily accessible from the easy-to-use interface. Its pretty small making it easy to swap between TVs in the house or to take with me when I travel. Small annoyance (dependent on TV) but the stick is a little longer than my HDMI port is to the bezel of the TV, meaning it sticks out a little on the side but it's a minor annoyance. While my experience has been good for the most part, there are a couple of negative I have found while using. The included remote, which is the reason I chose this over Chromecast, can be unresponsive sometimes and I've had to re-sync it with my Roku a couple times which is easy enough but takes longer than it should because of the next negative. Navigation through the UI and apps is smooth for the most part, but loading my most used app, Netflix, from the home menu takes much longer than I expected. Having used Netflix for years not on numerous game consoles (Xbox 360, Wii, Wii U and PS4), the amount of time it takes to load the app each time is at least 2-3 times longer than I've experienced with other devices. This makes re-syncing the remote and loading Netflix when I return the device from "standby" a real annoyance. Once the app is running everything works fine and I have no experienced any playback issues. Just for reference, I have Fios at 15/5. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a budget streaming device for TVs in your home that do not have another streaming-able device, without the need for (yet another) box on display.

I purchased two of these one for myself and one for my father my father wanted a Roku and I thought it'd be good idea to turn my TV into a smart TV it works perfectly fine for us to watch on Netflix so I'm pretty happy it's also super easy to set up. I was a little hesitant at first because after hearing the people in the store telling me that perhaps the Roku 3 would be better for streaming because it had a faster processor maybe I should spend the extra money but I didn't I purchased this item which was only around $40 and was very happy, overall a good buy.

I love the features and size of this model. I had the Roku 2 previously and it worked god, but took up more space. This has the same functionality but takes up less space.

Got this for my dad for Christmas along with a Netflix subscription. He loves it. It was easy to set up, and it's easy for him to use, which is the most important thing.

Replaced my streaming services from Sony Blu-Ray. Compared with the built in apps on the Blu-ray player, this thing is fast! It instantly loads shows from Netflix, Hulu Plus and so on. Very simple to use, has not frozen in the 3-4 weeks of daily use. My main gripe is the the remote is RF not IR. So I can't use my older Harmony One remote with it, I would have to upgrade my remote. I will probably do it one day. But for now using the original Roku remote has been a good experience. Connected instantly to my WiFi. I have this plugged into my receiver instead of my TV and that is working well. Overall an excellent product.

The Roku stick works just as well as my Roku 3. Easy to setup and use. Great for streaming Netflix & Hulu or watching HBOGO.

Honestly, this is the coolest little stick you can buy if you want access to other options besides what cable has to offer. It's easy to use!

Use this mainly to watch ESPN App in my workout room. The picture quality is outstanding. The only issue is the remote sometimes does not respond.

Seems like a good alternative to the twice-as-much Roku 3. Roku touts the number of available channels as a major selling point (particularly over the AppleTV), but most of the channels are unappealing to me and my family. Could have gotten away with a streaming bluray player for a little more money and been just as happy. It is easy to use, and the remote is much better than Apple's. I prefer this over the Chromecast as well, since channels/apps don't rely on a smartphone/tablet. Definitely a good device for the right type of viewer.

I own a Roku 3 and stick. The versatility is great for the Roku Stick if you need to bring with you or move from room to room. Runs great.

It works okay. The only problem we have is the signal between our router and the Roku is weak. Don't know if it's the Roku or the router. We got a booster and it's helped. We have three Rokus. Two of them have to be unplugged and restarted on a regular basis. It's a nuisance, but it works. I would recommend it to a friend, but with the above reservation.

Easy to use and setup, compact, nice feature to use smart devices and to stream from smart devices to your screen. Good value for the price.

Bought this as a gift for my 17 year old daughter. She loves it. Uses it daily. Easy to set up, easy to use. Portable to use on different tv's.
