Main reason for buying Roku was to be able to stream Acorn TV. We use this for Netflix, Amazon video, and Acorn. Easy to set up and create account. Works very well.

I have 4 of these Roku streaming sticks now. I almost bought another brand last time but I really love these and they work with all of my services, Hulu, HBO, MLB.tv and more. They're a snap to set up and easy to use. I love the global search function and the mobile remote app too! I have a Chromecast but stopped using it along time ago when I got my first one of these. The only downside to these is that you have to add channels on their website, which is not the easiest to use to find obscure channels. I wish they would make that easier, but for the popular channels, they're easy to find.

Bought this for its large number of interesting apps and portability. I move it between rooms and it works excellent for Netflix. YouTube etc... highly recommended

I have a smart tv but I need the better apps for watching TV. We have taken this to the beach. It works perfectly. But this one doesn't have the headphone jack

Hooked to my son's bedroom TV so he could view Netflix, HBOGO and YouTube. Working exactly as expected. Easy installation and simple remote. Excellent value!

I recently bought the Roku streaming stick with the sole purpose of being able to use my Amazon Prime membership more effectively. I wanted to use the video part of my membership. I was tempted to buy one of the Amazon Prime sticks but after a conversation with someone at Amazon in their tech department, I bought this Roku. It was simple to install, is easy to use and provides lots of options. I can even take it with when I travel. I am very satisfied with my purchase.

This worked right out of the box and was so easy to use that an 82 year old had no issues.

I purchased the Roku so we could watch our streaming media services throughout the house with the use of a USB. It does work, although its slower than I thought it would be. Once you get into the services (ie Netflix, Amazon) it loads fairly quickly. But I feel like it takes a long time for the Roku itself to get through its progression. Additionally, I purchased this so we could use Redbox, as the box suggested that it had that capacity. Unfortunately, Redbox does not offer software to go with the Roku I currently have.

a little slow loading but does what it's supposed to. I plugged it into a 27" Computer monitor (QX2710 2560x1440) and it works well.

We recently bought the Roku - Streaming Stick HDMI Version - Purple/Black, and found it very easy to set-up and use. Pretty much just plug-and-go. Works great!

Great size and easy use. Has many free workout channels, and multiple movie (subscription required) apps. Excellent picture quality. For those who say it is slow. It is only slow when you turn the tv on. It will load for minute. If you can get past that then you will be happy with the speed. Netflix takes 8 seconds to load. That is still fast for me.

It hides better on the Television then the Roku 2 or 3... Biggest difference is it has no USB to stream my own music or Movies..

Purchased this to watch ESPN3 on smart TV and it works like a charm. Very simple to set up and quality of picture is identical to regular satellite TV.

This little guy packs a punch. It brought so much Entertainment. It has so many apps including Youtube. Plus pack it and take it on the road. Very satisfied!!

Needed an extra Roku so that I didn't have to keep moving the one that I had. This one works great and saves space because I don't have to worry about a box.

The Roku is the best value streaming stick out there with the most programming available. The stick works well for wall mounted flat panels or portable use.

Roku has improved leaps and bounds over the years. This is the latest iteration of their streaming stick and it does not disappoint. For the price you get a very competent streaming device which connects you to all the major content networks, Netflix, Amazon Prime Video etc. This is the perfect companion device for a simple set top tv which does not have streaming services built into it from the factory and saves hundreds of dollars when compared to a smart TV verses a standard TV + Streaming device.

Got a flat screen that isn't smart? No game console at home with media apps? Pick up a Roku stick and download your streaming apps (Netflix, Hulu, Amazon video, Vudu, Shudder, etc), register your device with each app and be on your merry way to uninterrupted streaming. The Roku stick works better than some built in Smart TV apps in that it doesn't constantly buffer. The picture is clear and consistent and the stick is plug and play. Enough said.

Great interface, user friendly.The streaming stick is much better than Chromecast and NeoTV devices. The channel selection is unmatched, and great quality.
