This stick was very easy to set-up and easy to use. I have used both the remote which I prefer and the phone app. The picture output was excellent.

It is a great and useful device. Works good and no fussy instalation is required. Great purchase. Would recommend it!

I bought a Roku 3 for my non-Smart TV in the bedroom and was very impressed! In fact I was so happy with the Roku 3 that i bought the streaming Stick for my home theater set up that includes a smart TV with all the usual Netflix, Hulu etc., but the simplicity and user friendly Roku far out did my TV's apps. I just connected the stick to my a/V receiver and use it instead of the TV's apps. The search function is great and the user interface is SO much better than the apps on my TV. I love it, it's like having a new smart TV. I highly recommend it!

Great to use when traveling around, a little slower than Roku 3 (which I use at home), but very convenient when traveling!

I loved that this doesn't take up much space and was easy to install. I can now watch netflix and other apps in comfort of my living room.

My third Roku and second Roku stick. CANNOT BE BEAT! I got this one to replace an Apple TV that was driving me crazy with the lack of choice and NO Amazon prime. ROKU works fine and so easy ro et up with easy channel interfaces. Have a laptop or wifi device handy to set up HBO Go and Showtime Anytime. This will replace cable TV faster than anyone thinks. My only beef: the remote. Replaced batteries 2x and still not reliable. My ROKU2 remote I never had an issue with so maybe it is just that unit. Ironically, I am using the Roku App on my IPhone.

I love my Roku streaming stick. I have one on my living room & bedroom TV. There are more channels than I could possible ever watch. Very Awsome

I really like this device, which primarily I purchased to watch tv.jw.org and I am not disappointed in the least. Easy to use and great picture.

Love my ROKU for streaming Netflix, HBOGo, Pandora, etc. I haven't had a chance to explore all of the options and have been a bit disappointed at how many of the "free" offers are a free sign up to be billed for a membership if you want to use the service. =( It works wonderfully for what I got it for. Very easy to set up and have even taken it with me to a friends to watch our favorite shows.

You just plug it in, quick setup and your good to go. The picture is awesome, you get the full HD picture as you plug into the HDMI slot.

Cut the cable cord dis the disk and watch TV I love it. The remotes are sensitive I had one replaced two months in.

The remote cuts out constantly but other then that it works great use your smart phone to avoid the aggravation.

I bought this because we recently purchased a new "smart" tv that had Roku. We liked the streaming and wanted to see if it would work for another tv which is about 5 years old. I'm so happy I "experimented" because we use it all the time now. The only reason I gave it a 4 was when streaming Netflix it sometimes would jump back to the home screen. It didn't happen often and it could have been a glitch in our wifi. I am buying my mom one of these for Christmas!

This is better than the other version of roku. love that it is portable and easy to set up and use. Lots of new channels added all the time!

I bought the Roku because my Chromecast stopped working in one TV and this was an alternative to having to pay for cable again. I like the Roku but find it is slower than the Chromecase in pulling shows from the internet and even stops from time to time on at least one source. With a streaming device it is hard to tell what component is causing the problems and each one blames the other. Wide choice of programming is a definite plus. I am very happy overall.

brought the product for my second TV (Samsung) installed in my bedroom. I did not want to pull cable all the way across the room therefore I bought the Roku stick which stays hidden behind the TV connected to HDMI port. the set-up was extremely easy and in under a few minutes I was connected to wi-fi and had downloaded apps from Roku store. I use it regularly to watch TWC and HBO-GO and the streaming is seamless.

I highly recommend this Roku. I wanted to be able to watch streaming services that weren't available on my non -smart Tv. I have a connected Samsung Blu ray but options were limited. The Roku fixed it all. I can access HBO Go, Amazon, Netflix, Vudu and a million others. The only downside is that I had thought the stick went HDMI port and I'm done. But it does have to plug in somewhere. I had to work out the outlet issue to keep thing neat as this TV hangs on a wall. But other than that Iove it. IPhone app works great with it too.

The Roku allowed us to access internet entertainment media such as Netflix without the need for a smart tv. Easy to set up and works great.

I love this little stick. We have accounts with netflix, amazon, hulu, and some other free ones and the Roku manages all the accounts flawlessy. There are hundreds of music/movie/entertainment/news channels to choose from. It's easy to switch from channel to channel, and if you're looking for a specific show or movie Roku will search all channels to find it and display a list of available channels. No more searching each channel until you find it! Speed is far faster than any "smart" blu-ray player or tv I've owned. I also have a Roku 3 and this little stick does most of what the 3 does at a far lower price. It is maybe a little slower to load content but still faster than any other devices I've seen. If you have the money and want the "best" get the Roku 3, otherwise the stick is a great option.

The main reason I purchased this devise is because of all of the wires in, around, connected to the TV. I did not want to get the Roku 1 or 2 and have the power cord and the RCA/optical cord running to the TV. I'm not the smartest computer guy in the world, so it wasn't obvious to me that even though the devise was plugged in to the HDMI port, it would require additional power source to run. Fortunately, my television also has a separate USB with power output. The device is behind my TV and the USB cable also plugs to a port on the back of the TV. In the end, I have exactly what I was looking for, The streaming stick control functions have not been shared with MyHarmony for programming of universal remotes (yet) and the universal remote doesn't read the remote-to-remote coding. Expect to use the Roku remote to operate the device. Overall, great "little" piece of electronics that allowed me to get the bulky Play Station out of the living room. It was easy to install and works great.
