Good streaming stick

She loves not having a cable bill and watching all her shows on Hulu, Amazon and Netflix. Apps available for regular stations as well which is something you don't find on the Smart TVs. I will probably end up getting one for my house too.

Great TV Addon

The Roku stick fit that bill nicely. It is easy to install and Roku has an extensive list of apps to choose from to appease any viewing desire you have. Of course it has the big ones like Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Video but most of the networks and a host of many many others.

Excellent way to stream movies and shows

If you have some of the memberships to things like netflix and amazon prime, then it's a good portable device for any tv in the house. There are also many free/included venues available.

Great streamer. Interface a little slow.

No wires showing. Uses very little power. Only down sides are (1) the interface is a little slow when switching between apps, (2) the shows buffer from time to time in Netflix, and (3) the remote has to "reconnect" every once and a while.

Good enough for kids

I like that the dongle is out of sight behind the TV and the HD video runs smooth. The remote does have a hard time every so often connecting with the dongle (the TV is about 56") but overall, I think it was a great pick up.

He can now watch his subscribed services on his hotel TV rather than propping a laptop on the bed.

Good, but not as polished as Apple TV

As a streaming device, it works great. It's a little slow and not as "polished and refined" as an Apple TV, but it gets the job done. It should be great for travelers, but I have not tried it on hotel wifi yet. It requires a USB power adapter that comes with it.
