Not as many apps as Roku but it has its place. Works fine and easy to use

I love the ROKU. The WiFi went out on my 2 yr. old Samsung (all the bells and whistles) TV. I wasn't going to pay what an electronics repair shop would charge to repair on top of the cost of this TV! Salesperson suggested the ROKU and it's great. I have an Apple tv but not a huge fan and don't find it has the options. Easy to set up and no problems of crashing etc.

I bought the Roku stick because I already had a Chromestick but I wanted the ability to stream without using my phone. The Roku has a remote but it's very unreliable. Within the first few days the remote started losing connection I had to repeatedly reset the remote and most of the time it would only work for a few minutes. I looked on Roku's website and apparently this is a known issue with their streaming devices. I took it back and got a fire stick. I only gave it 2 stars because it does work well with your phone as a remote but you can but a Chromestick for 1/2 the price.

It lacks the speed of the roku 3 but nothing else. Very capable streaming just wish it mirrored my tablet screen as well as my chromecast. Remote buttons make a clicking sound when pressed but I'm sure that will stop after its broken in some. All in all very good if streaming is your main concern. Sports all major companies for content including amazon instant video.

This item is very easy to hook up, connect and use. I think there are so many options, that it took quite a while to see what applications I would use and which ones I would not use. I already had a Netfilx and Amazon account, and I primarily bought it to use when I travel and stay at various hotels. Easy to use!!!!!!!!!!!

Found this easy to set up and a pleasure to use. Roku is the best.

The big plus is the ability to move it around and plug it into different TV's without the hassle of a bunch of cords (the one power cord is a USB that can plug into the TV or AC adapter included with product). The only drawback is start up can be a little slow or get stuck but not often enough to really cause problems.

I've had a Roku 2 in my living room for about a year and a half. I got this for my bedroom, and I have to say, I'm not sure why you'd ever buy any other type. It's compact, it was easy to install, and I haven't noticed any speed or quality differences between this and the other one. And I love the fact that you can power it via USB instead of (yet another) AC plug!

It works great and is easy to install and the set-up is also easy

It was easy to install onto our HDTV and we watched TV shows via our HuluPlus account on the TV rather than on our Ipad or laptop. I chose the Stick over other streaming options because it offered more channels and it was priced right. Be advised that a Roku account is required before installation and subscriptions to Hulu, Netflix, etc. is a definite necessity.

I take my Roku Stick when I travel - plug it in to the Hotel TV HDMI, and I'm unconcerned with the limited TV channels provided by the Hotel. I have 4 other Roku 'Boxes', which each have a particular use, however the STICK is for Travel. P.S I had tried the Google Chromecast, but the lack of a remote and the fewer channel selections sent me to the Roku Stick.

I originally purchased the amazon fire stick, but for some reason the sound kept going in and out on it. I returned it and go the Roku stick and I couldn't be happier with it. We are big Netflix watchers and so far with this Roku we do not have any issues. It buffers super fast, never freezes up. There are tons of channels to choose from. I highly recommend it!

For the price I paid this device is great. Easy to setup and gives me a lot of streaming choices. I use the Roku on the TV in my bedroom when I dont want to look at tv in the rec room where I have cable. Roku with its streaming gives me the ability to look at cable content without having to have a cable setup in my room..

Great product, compact in size, easy installation and fully portable

A reliable Roku device, with minimalist appeal. This was purchased as a holiday gift, and I am happy to report that the Streaming Stick was well-received and has been performing perfectly. There is slightly limited functionality compared to the other Roku devices on market, but, for the price, this version is quite nice.

My experience with Roku devices can best be summed up as a love hate relationship. My other Roku has a nasty habit of locking up. This one has done it once already, but since then it has been working just fine. I haven't found, or heard of any product better for streaming, so we will just learn to live together.

Works great and easy to setup compared to other tech. Works great and is mobile to use for the smaller screens in other parts of house and laptop. Have Apple TV fixed to main tv. The video quality is excellent. Had an issue with range from my router but not products fault...just an old house with thick walls.
