    Purchased because my best buy was out of the amazon fire stick. Does not have the same abilities that fire stick provides.

    No need to spend more money on a smart tv! As long as you have a Roku, you can have the functionality in a TV with the HDMI ports!

    So we tried the Google chromecast, we were not happy. We switched to the roku stick and we much happier. Chrome cast's lack of a remote was a big turn off.

    Need to check modem speeds with your provider to make sure you can stream live tv. then cut the cord and save a ton!

    This works so well for me as a student. I am able to put HBO, Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Play all on my TV. I have completely dropped cable!

    I USED ROKU VERY OFTEN ON MY OLD LCD, BUT NOW THAT I GOT MYSELF A 4K ANDROID TV AND I'LL USE MY ROKU AS A PRESENT FOR MY FAMILY IN ECUADOR.

    This thing is Freaking awesome. We have used in the past a wii and we have used a PS3 but this Ruko is the best not mention all the additional features.
