Originally I purchased the Roku to avoid paying for another cable box from Time Warner in our bedroom but found it to be very valuable. Lots of great content from a variety of sources and in such a small and compact package. Normally I stick only with Apple products but it's hard to beat the functionality of this product. Pick one up today!

The best in it's class. Turns my regular TV into s SMART one.

I love my Roku Stick! Bought one for each tv in the house. Pros: -Retina remote (can control Roku from any angle even across the house!) -Portable -Easy to use and set up - Auto Stream (goes to the next episode if watching a tv show on Netflix or Hulu) Cons: -Longevity: We have had to get a new one already after about 1 and 1/2 years

I absolutely love the roku! Out of all the other brands of streaming devices, Roku offers more channels and options. There are hundreds of great free channels to choose from and not as many that you have to pay for. This has made it so easy to cut the cable cord and still have a good selection of entertainment choices. Give it a try!

Love streaming internet and Roku puts out some great products. The Streaming stick is portable and very convenient. Works great. However, once in awhile it freezes everything on the screen or things don'g work right, such as, programs won't play, this is when you have to do a reboot. It may not be the stick, it could be my internet , I'm not sure, but if I unplug the ac cord from the stick and then re-plug it up, everything works fine. Just a glich that happens once in awhile, maybe once every 10 days, thus the 4 stars.

After reading the reviews, I thought this would work great for my set-up. No extra wires or cables. The unit plugs into the back of my tv and is powered by a USB port. First problem was the remote was defective. Customer service was great and sent me a replacement. Now it does work and when it works, it streams well, but the remote still doesn't always respond. I have the iPhone app on my phone. I have the Roku 2 and the stick. My phone always recognizes my Roku 2 at the other end of the house, but doesn't always see the Roku stick. This leads me to believe it is a problem with the stick. I would not recommend this, but would highly recommend the Roku 2.

Easy to set up and use. Works great and the price was right.

Easy setup at home. The only bummer is it does not have a web browser so you can't use it by itself at a hotel where you have to log in to get internet access. To get around that I have a small access point/router I carry that I connect to the hotel network through then the Roku works great. I have used this setup at a number of properties.

I purchase this as a gift for my little cousin, is great because he doesn't have to have a cellphone connected to it in order to use it, with the remote control he is able to navigate through it on his own; he is 6 years old and he has not problem connecting to it and watching his favorite shows.

Most comprehensive and easy to set up streaming device.

The Roku is great for a TV in a spare room not hooked up to cable or satellite. There is quite a lot of free programming available but you have to dig for it while being prompted to purchase shows. The remote control works intermittently at best, so you'll have to use your smartphone as a remote.

After reading several reviews on over the air antennas and streaming media devices I decided to go with the Roku Streaming Stick. I must admit, I have not missed my $130/mo Directv bill one tiny bit. The Roku Stick is a great device and you can select from a wide variety of free streaming media too. Get it, you won't regret it!

I love it that it's hidden and not noticeable. The con side of it is the remote has it issues at times where you loose it's connection. Other then that it's a good product and will continue to recommend to others if your wanting to save a little money then going through a cable provider.

This was my first roku device. I purchased this and Apple TV at the same time and wound up returning the Apple TV bc this "stick" was much more functional and easy to use. While apples packaging is sleek and the products are sexy, this was just simply better suited for my needs and by far exceeded my expectations for ease of function and use.
