I have two Roku sticks in the house, they were a great purchase. I ditched cable a few years ago and use these to do all my streaming whether it be Netflix, Hulu Plus, Sling or in the past, MLB TV. Roku products work pretty brilliantly for me. Bonus with the newer Roku's is that they don't freeze as much as the older models.

We recently shut off our directv and looking for something to replace our dvr service. this works almost as well with Netflix and hulu subscriptions. There are a few shows we can't get but so far we're not missing them to much. The Roku is working perfectly and is easy to move to different TVs without loosing anything.

I chose this item for my parents to allow them to use HBOGo, Netflix, and Hulu. I use the Apple TV since the majority of my products are Apple brand but for people without Apple products, I would certainly recommend this product. With the right router, the streaming is quick and the setup makes adding and selecting apps easy.

I purchased Roko streaming stick a little over a month ago. Wow! It delivers everything I had hoped it would...and more. Being an Amazon Prime member, this is a no-brainer! Well worth the low price. Easy to install, easy to use. With Netflix and Amazon, my viewing options are endless. I would highly recommend Roko!!

I own several Rokus. "The Stick" works just fine for most people. I bought this one for my 70 year old in-law so they would not have to subscribe to cable at their summer house. They love it and are saving about $2K a year being cord cutters. The Roku 3 is a choice if you plan to do screen mirroring off your Android or Windows 8 device (Yes it does that and it's very cool). The user experience is better than Apple and Amazon streaming devices and there are far more channel including lots of free movie channels (same kind of stuff you find on basic cable). If you have one of these and a subscription to Hulu, Netflix or Amazon Prime you will never miss Cable TV. You can even subscribe Sling TV for $20 a month and get TNT, Disney, ESPN and others. There is also a device called a Tablo you buy that acts like a DVR for off the air channels which you can stream through Roku.

My husband and I bought the Roka for my dad @ Christmas as a present and he loved it. My husband set it up for my dad and he said it was very easy to set up. My dad said it's very easy to operate (he's not good with electronics). We are planning to buy our self a Roka and get rid of the movie channels with cox communications.

I loved this streaming stick right from the get-go. It is user friendly and easy to set up. It's way better than the Amazon Fire TV stick, which is awfully laggy and doesn't have all of the same apps available. I'd pick the Roku any day over that one.

Very easy to set up and use. Excellent product. We have had no problems using our Roku Stick. It is very user friendly and we are extremely happy with the quality. It is so compact and we love the remote! We would not hesitate to recommend this to others who are looking to purchase a streaming device. Well worth the money.

Plug and play ready. Super easy to install....just like a USB thumb drive then use the remote to access the service and log in via your email. I chose Roku over Apple & Amazon due to the availability of Acorn TV. Wish I would have bought this years ago

I brought this item because it was advertised, I could watch live streaming on the channel I was hoping to watch. Only to told after the stick was installed it would be this summer before the streaming would start. The stick works well but, I haven't pushed it to its full potential.

I owned an old roku and decided to upgrade to the roku stick. Easy installation to newer tvs. Just plug into hdmi and the cord on the stick plugs into a usb port on tv, wall adapter included if no usb port. It has a lot more channels than the old roku and works faster. I would recommend this instead of smart tv.

Discreet. Sits out of the way behind my TV in the bedroom. Remote works via wifi connection rather than IR - makes sense because you can't point at behind the TV. Roku is a really good product/service. I really like being able to stream my own media to the TV, which was purchased before smart TV's became so ubiquitous.

We recently cut the cord with our TV provider and went with streaming solutions. This device connects easily and the interface is very nice. The "point anywhere" remote is very handy as well. The streaming stick is out of sight behind my TV and the remote works great. The remote works even at a distance of 20 feet.

Wanted to provide my upstairs TV with Netflix access. This was the way to go. Just plug in USB in back of Samsung 55 inch TV and run through the setup. Once you are connected to your wireless, you have a multitude of streaming options. The ROKU device seems to have the most options compared to other streaming devices.
