Love the stick, this is our second stick & 3rd Roku

All I had to do was plug it in and go and it works fine with our WIFI.

I was using Chromecast and it was not easy to operate and streaming was not good. The Roku streaming is good and doesn't require a computer or a smartphone. Using Roku remote easy to operate it.

Really a nice addition to my TV. Picture is HD and very nice sound is good too. Watching a movie it did delay for less than a second twice just like a DVD would skip sometimes. Other than that very nice.

Great little device that turns any hdtv into a smart tv. Its easy to setup and works quite well. It also has an extra feature where you can mirror your smartphone to the Roku wirelessly!

I have 3 Roku 3's & have to say it is the best Roku out there. I was going to get the 4 but because of fan issues, I am going to wait until they fix that problem. So I got this for a friend for her birthday. This Roku stick is so slow. I was getting so upset setting it up for her. I really was ready to return it & pay the extra money for the 3 but this is her first streaming device & she didn't really have anything to compare it to like I do. I say if you are in the market for a streaming device, The Roku 3 is the one to get.

Worked Good for a while, but then would not connect to WiFi. Tried all troubleshooting tips and online chat. No help in getting it working again. I'll try another streaming service.

I just got this yesterday and used it today. The remote does not work. How do you make it work so the roku can play? Otherwise easy to set up.

My first Roku after owning 2 Apple TVs. I enjoy the applications available on the Roku that you can't get on the Apple TV along with the flexibility that doesn't come with Apple. However, it doesn't "just work" like Apple does. Lots of setup and then it wouldn't accept updates. Customer service said take back to retailer since it appeared to be a hardware issue. Had same problem with two sticks that started with simlar serial numbers: 2LA4C... Possible problems with this build from the end of 2014. Older stick with different starting serial numbers and older remote (still had blockbuster button instead of rdio button) worked just fine.

Got this for my daughters tv, load time is a little slow when doing initial update, but once we got this up and running, and the channels all added, it works well.

Purchased Roka Streaming Stick in late October 2014. Have used it seldom, maybe a total of 8 times. Now in May 2015, it no longer works. Got in touch with Roku CS via website, and after much persuasion she sent me another remote. She thought this was the problem. Guess what? It still doesn't work. Don't waste your $$ on this piece of junk.

This couldn't be any easier to setup and use. What held me back from giving it 5 stars is the slow loading process.

I was specifically looking for a streaming device that included netflix, amazon, and hulu which the roku does. Very easy setup. Has worked without any problems so far.

Attempted to use in 2nd home with sling over lower speed internet and it was way too choppy. returned and instead used ipad cable with sling app to connect directly to tv and works way better.

This works great to access video channels such as HuLu and Netflix. This is great because we do not have many TV channels, so this is an inexpensive way to get great shows still.

great line up of channels and easy to navigate the menu. The remote was a plus, simple and functional. the only drawback is the stick is difficult to fit on Dynex and Insignia TV, very tight space around HDMI ports. Overall its worth the price. I would dump Uverse as soon as I can figure out all my favorite channels...

Clearer picture than FIOS. By subscribing Cling tv at $20, my Roku delivers espn, tnt, tbs, cnn, .... all with quality images and speeds.

Pretty bad product design. Remote doesn't pair with the stick. There is no other way to debug this issue. Customer support asked me to power on and off several times and see if it will pair. Eventually, they told me to return it or will mail me a new unit. Google'd it and seems like it is a pretty common problem with this product.

I set up the account online first so that getting the device running was easy. It sinks with my iPhone so I can easily add apps without having to navigate a tv screen. I don't have any problems connecting to the internet and it being fast enough. I have uverse 18 mbp internet which is not the fastest out there but its affordable and plenty good for the Roku stick!
