Works just as advertised. I use it hotel rooms, airports wherever. It has never dropped a connection and almost never buffers.

This device is horribly slow. It lags and pauses frequently. Watching any sports on it is a joke. When trying to contact customer support on possibly upgrading to the 3 sonce we've had it for less than 30 days, they wouldn't do it and blamed both Sling and Internet instead of owning it (though we have no issues w any other device in the house). Don't waste your money!

We love having our Roku!!! If you are thinking of buying one I would highly recommend it. Works great for my 16yo daughter.

Nice to have all apps in easy to get to place. Love to watch phone videos on big screen.

I bought the stick several months ago. Worked great until now. All i get is a purple screen - audio but no video. Called Roku and did not get much help from them. Reset stick several times but that didn't help either. So I'm stuck with a terrible stick and out 50.00 bucks.

Great device ! Hook right up with no problems. Multiple tv shows and apps that can be downloaded as well !

I've tried most of the competing streaming devices, and must rate this as the worst of all of those tried (Roku 3, Amazon Fire TV stick, Chromecast, Apple TV 4). It's just way too slow. Slow to load channels, and slow to respond to remote commands, and to execute those commands. Took almost a minute to load Netflix. Lost internet connection when unplugged for one minute. The Roku 3 may be a bit long in the tooth at this point, but it's still reasonably responsive by comparison. In this price range, I'd go for the Amazon Fire stick, despite a few limitations in available programming. Apple TV 4 kicks everyone in the rear end, IMHO.

I bought Roku in January 2014. It worked ok for little more than a year. Then I had to pair Roku and its remote each time I Turn TV on. Sometimes it took more than half an hour till they got paired. Only then I could watch Roku. I am interesting if anyone would wait 30 minutes or more to start watching your favorite program?

This is my second Roku. I also have a FireStick. There are more channels and features on the Roku.

When you use your tv's USB for power it will take a bit over 1minute to start up.

Seems like every time I try to watch Netflix there is always a problem. I would say close to 1/2 the time something is always a problem. Either it won't connect or if it does connect it takes forever to load the movie, and once it loads it plays and over and over stops and keeps reloading. I have tried unplugging the unit, and also a complete reset of the roku. I know it is a roku problem because each time I have gone downstairs and tried it on my apple TV and it works flawlessly. Do know if this is a common problem but I am ready to give up onroku and buy another apple TV.

BEWARE!! Installed stick 11/20 and as of today1/15 it's junk. All of a sudden stopped working, factory reset it and nothing. Called my cable provider and it's not my wifi. So I called my closest Best Buy to ask about returning and the CSR said that my chance of return ends TODAY and if I can be at their store in 1 hour I can return it. I live in a rural area and no way can I make it there in an hour. When I told the CSR that he in a round about way said oh well you're outta luck, I said so I have a $50 piece of junk and he said yes basically. Wow! So the Roku sucks and I missed my return window by one day. So good luck with a Roku stick should you decide to purchase one and Best Buy is not the best place to buy from!

This is a LOT better than the Original I had, it was slow and about useless

Plug and play up and running very fast has a few issues with my older tv just had to reset it

I bought this on 10-8-2014 and when I got it home it said 1-2-3 setup. I had a bit of a time to set it up and could not find instructions of how to do it. After a while of trying different things I got it up and running and never looked back. I just don't know why I didn't buy one of these sooner. Once setup is done it is easy a pie. Get to see all the missed programs when I can view them.

I love this ROKU stick, easy set up, lots of programing options. I am binge watching with pleasure now

If you in the same room as your router (and why would you need wireless if it's in same room as router?). Other wise it's pretty much complete junk. The Roku always shows I have great to excellent signal connection, however it constantly buffers. Netflix will buffer every 5 minutes or so, sling tv half the time won't even start playing, if it does it's horribly pixalated. Moving the Roku into the same room helps it be more stable but still buffers more then it should. Half the time the remote seems to lose connection to the Roku. I have to take batteries out and put them back in for it to work. I've attempted to use the Roku App as the remote but half the time the app says there is no Roku connected to network. Overall I'd jump up and atleast get the Roku 2 or something completely different with a ethernet port.

This device is slower than the Roku 3 but it's so small and non-intrusive that it somewhat makes up for the slowness. The battery life in the remote is horrible. I have to change the batteries weekly.

Does everything I ever possibly wanted from a streaming stick, and at a great price too!

This plugged right in and is easy to use. Purchased for my mom.
