I bought this for my neighbor when Time Warner recommended it to him. He didn't want a box hanging from his mounted TV, and this was a simple solution. The interface is a little slow, and the image quality can degrade depending on your wifi speed and signal strength. But overall it gets the job done. I had originally plugged it into his TV's USB port, but it would make the Roku completely reboot every time the TV turned back on. That was quite annoying since it could take a while. So I plugged the power into an outlet near his TV. Time Warner's app works well on this, for anyone that is curious, and you get almost all of the channels that you would from your cable box (without an unsightly and power-hogging box). Basically if you have access to the channel on Time Warner's apps or website, you have access to it on the Roku. Overally, good device for a good price.

I got this to use in my bedroom in lieu of cable. Very happy with it. Good picture quality and a lot of options for services (Netflix, watchespn, hulu, google play, youtube). Good value.

Works great fixes the problem my parents where having with their samsung smart TV that wasnt wifi enabled when they bought it. Was so easy and simple to install and got the tv working in less than 10mins. Thank you to the Best Buy team member who showed this to me and saved em money!

I like that Roku just plugs into your tv hdmi input and you don't need a tablet, phone, or laptop to use this. You can just use the remote that it comes with to watch. It's a little slow at loading the episodes and seems to lag a little but works good.

I had a Chromecast stick that i purchased a year ago and was quite happy with it. When i found myself on an extended stay away from home, I looked into getting a streaming stick and was guided to the Roku by a BestBuy sales associate. What I love about the Roku is the multitude of channels that can be streamed. where Chromecast only does Netflix, Hulu, Youtube, (no vimeo from android) and maybe a couple others, the Roku has *hundreds* if not thousands of channels to choose from. I have discovered so many that I may never leave my couch ever again!

This is an easy way to make your regular tv into a "smart tv". It was easy to set up and with the remote control included, easy to use. Made a great Christmas gift for our family. Watching Netflix movies has never been easier!!

I'll start off by saying that this is my second Roku product. I was happy with my first one and wanted to buy another one for my bedroom. The streaming stick is just as easy to connect to as my Roku 2xd, and seems to work more smooth. Also love the mirror screen option. Works great!!

Got the Roku Stick to stream shows and movies through Netflix and other similar services. Also have access to ESPN using relative's cable username and password. Would like to be able to mirror phone but that is in beta. Overall exactly what we wanted.

Very user friendly. Just plug into USB port on your TV and you're ready to go. Easy to access Hulu, Netflix and Amazon Prime. I was having constant buffering issues trying to access these networks using my Blu-ray player, but the buffering issue has disappeared using the Roku.

I really like the Roku,, tons of channels and apps to pick from, compact little streaming stick fits right in your TV's HDMI plug,, only prob I found was how long it takes for a channel to load.. Ended up returning but I have to say im thinking of buying it again for the spare room

I have 3 Roku's and purchased this one for my Den TV. Works great! Supports the current features and I can't really notice that the processor is slightly slower than the Roku3.

I got Roku just so I can use my SlingBox in a 2nd home. Works perfect, has a low profile on my samsung flat screen attached to the wall, and powers from the USB next to the HDMI port. Have not tried the zillion other channels.

It was easy to set up. With my tv i have to use 3 remotes. One to change input, then comcast for sound and ruku to run netflix, amazon ect. My tv isn't that old but still alot of remotes to use. And it says more episodes but it doesn't do it always.

It's a good streaming stick and a very good prices. Pauses here and there and unfortunately there is no on/off button so it's on all the time. Have to unplug it. Other than that...LOVE it for watching tv in my room without having to hook up a cable.

love the functionality,easy set up, and number of channels,etc but did not give it a 5 star due to seems to still have some streaming,buffering delays despite using a high speed connections, lag time starting and waiting for programs to load

I think this is a great device especially if you do not have a game console or smart tv. However, there are times the remote and device do not sync up. But Roku does a smart phone app that let's you control it. So that is a great alternative.

No skills needed. Just plug in to an HDMI slot on your TV, let it connect to the internet, and you're on your way! I've been researching the Roku stick, as I have the older Roku brands, and wanted to upgrade. I intend to take the Roku stick with me when I'm traveling too!

The Roku - Streaming Stick is easy to install. Plug it into the Hdmi Port, attach the AC adapter and either create a roku account or use an account you already have. The unit isn't as fast as the Roku 3, but is better than the original Roku.

I've owned for a month. So far so good. My only criticism is they require you to put in a credit card number when setting it up. I don't care for that. Other than that it's been great.

After using several different Roku devices and being well satisfied with them, I purchased the Streaming Stick to use when traveling. It was easy to use and to set up and it provided access to my streaming channels.
