The Roku was easy to set up on the remote, my daughters phone and IPad. There are many apps to choose from. My daughter and her friends like making movies/videos on the IPad and streamlining it on the TV. I'm going to buy another for our upstairs bedroom. So far no issues with the Roku.

I am really thrilled with Roku. I contacted Hulu for support once by phone. They called me back in a few minutes. They were great to work with. I started having an issue with the streaming. It would play and then reload. They had that covered on their website. The stick is great!

I currently have a Vizio smart TV which I really like, but the smart features are very limited. The Roku offers a lot more apps and updates, like HBO, Showtime, and more. If you want these features it is very handy.

Purchased this item for my sister and she is having a blast with it,Moshe can travel with it to so many hotels she stays in and can watch all the channels she enjoys on it, Netflix and Amazon prime plus hundreds more.

After buying the Roku, I began to wonder if maybe I should have invested in a different tv streaming device. For anyone who is interested in getting away from the high cost of cable and getting their feet wet with the new revolutionized tv streaming devices- DEFINITELY GET THE ROKU!!!

I had trouble setting it up, due to servers being down, so it took a couple of days but once I got a tech that was honest with me I didn't waste any more time until the servers were back up, the stick itself works pretty good and lots of options

The simplification of the roku stick is awesome. Just insert it into the usb port and it walks you through the directions to connect it to your wireless. Do be prepared to get online and enter various codes when you're hooking it up. Once you enter the codes you're good to go.

I purchased this device for my children television. I just plugged it in the hdmi and powered it off the usb port on the tv they love it.......easy set up great way to cut that cable bill if you have netflix and hulu plus.

I love my new Roku, installation was easy and I continue to find new free Chanel's. There are several free month trial channels and all in all you can get your favorite channels for far less than cable charges.

my television has a horizontal in put and the weight of the electrical cord pulls down on the stick and it doesn't make good contact so you have to tape the cord on to the back of the television high enough to counter balance the weight of the cord.

It's easy to navigate from Roku's main menu (splash page). The remote has an issue in that it loses its power despite having viable and functioning batteries. I have to remove and reinsert the same batteries to get the remote to work again.

the roku streaming stick is a great alternative to your regular or cable tv. it gives you a wide choice of free movie, children, entertainment channels as well as some pay channels like NETFLIX, HULU. the picture quality is sharp and the streaming is very smooth and constant..

I think this is the only device that gets Acorn TV and connects with a regular television. Therefore, it is indispensable! Seems to work nicely, extremely easy to setup (connect to HDMI port and USB port). Nice remote app for iPhone too! It's all good in this neighborhood!

We had to get it because hulu kept crashing (on the shows, never on the commercials). The only things we don't like are that it hijacks our viewing and starts programs that we haven't told it to start when another program ends, and it is nearly impossible to fast forward or rewind to the exact place we want it to stop. Also the loading time seems long every time we turn on the TV.

A month or so ago I purchased an Insignia 32" 1080p TV with Roku built in. Prior to that purchase I knew nothing about Roku, but was pleasantly surprised by some features Roku has that most other smart TV's or Bluray players do not have, especially the Watch ESPN app. I can now watch sports on a "big" screen (my screens are 32" to 65") instead of a phone, iPad, tablet or computer, a much more pleasant viewing experience. Can even take the "Stick" along when traveling, if the hotel has a compatible tv I can even use it there! The stick is not quite as fast or smooth as the Roku built in version, but is more that adequate for my needs.

The remote control doesnt work that great and is a little delayed and I think it drains the batteries really fast so I usually just use the app on my phone as my remote. Also, it may be my internet connection but it will freeze sometimes. Netflix works a lot better in my house. I bought two of these devices and decided i was only going to need one, so I tried to take it back, but Best Buy wouldnt take it back. It was past their 15 days return policy and I had opened the box. All i did was insert it (that's what she said) into the TV and connect it to my wifi for about 10 minutes. I never used it after that. I think I'll try and sell it to one of my friends.

I was pleasantly surprised at how well this item works. The one caveat is that it has to be plugged in to power constantly. The battery does not seem to be able to hold a charge. I would recommend as a basic, affordable streaming option.

Does everything the regular Roku box does. just know the included remote is not an IR remote. As such, it will not work with a universal remote.

Roku stick is not just easy to install but is very seamless in its use. One advice I would give is if you can avoid it, don't plug it into the back hdmi port of your tv. If you have hdmi ports along the sides, those are best. I have encountered connection and operation issues with it being plugged directly into the back hdmi port and after changing to the side hdmi port, all works well. Aside from that, I definitely would recommend the Roku Stick and oh, it does provide different netflix profiles which the Roku HD doesn't provide.

The setup was a little frustrating at first. I had to make some adjustments on my computer which I learned through a blog to be able to setup the stick. Once I did, it worked great!
