User friendly setup and use of remote. Nice selection of channels available. Love getting espn watch without computer being connected to tv. Commercials on some channels are irritating

My friends and family all got the Roku, and it's worth it. You can get everything that you're renting, guide included, except what's on your DVR box. Easy to set up and great entertainment without renting the box.

It's such a great device! Honestly, I don't know why people waste their money on the more expensive Roku. This one does everything that I need it to, and is fast.

Was happy to have a compact streaming device to add to my second tv. Set up was quick and easy and we were watching movies right away. Great alternative to cable boxes and all that stuff.

This is a great semi- replacement for cable boxes; if you have Time Warner. The app itself isn't so great but this is about the roku. It's a nifty little gadget that gives tons of channel options, easy to set up, and unobtrusive plugged in the back of the tv. Not a do-it-all, though. It won't show online videos like Airplay, and does not mirror websites like chromecast, but it sure has a LOT of channels. Plus having a user friendly remote isn't bad at all.

this is a great medium for streaming online content. the set up is easy. tons of channels with new channels being added daily. I have both a roku 3 and a streaming stick, looking into getting a tv with roku built in.

I bought this for my living room and the full sized for my bedroom. If you're familiar with using streaming services like Netflix and Hulu and setting up internet connections this is can be a great alternative to cable!

Picture quality is excellent. 1080p HD. Pause, stop, resume all work like a charm. Remote is very easy to use and intuitive.

I swear this has to be one of the best things I ever purchased and it's way better to have than cable or satellite tv!! Definitely would recommend to others!!

most of the time my roku works really well, but twice so far I have had to reprogram it in due to the remote freezing and none of the options to fix it will fix it without reprogramming it.

This is the 2nd Roku Stick I have purchased. I also have a Roku 3. The Roku Stick works well, but it is a little slow starting up. I do like the direct access buttons on the remote for Netflix, Amazon Prime, MGo and Blockbuster. If you want the best and fastest experience, get the Roku 3. The Roku stick works great if you are looking for inexpensive, pretty much plug and play. If you have a powered HDMI port, this does not require any external power. I did not, so I used the included adapter cable to an adjacent powered USB port on my TV. If neither port is powered on your TV, you will have to use the included 115V power to USB adaptor. Note that the Roku stick (and Roku 3) requires a HDTV with a HDMI port to plug into. If not, you will need to get the Roku 1 or Roku 2.

It's a lot easier to use than a google chromecast. Quality of the product is really good and streaming service as well. Only minus for me is it's very slow to upload and get ready...

Would not fit in the Westinghouse 48" TV. Geek Squad came out to install TV and Roku stick, but could not do set up because an adapter was needed to make the Roku fit. We had to drive over to Best Buy and get the adapter, which I insisted they provide at no charge since three of their sales associates promised would fit no problem with the TV. And we paid the full Geek Squad amount to have the WiFi etc. set up, which they were unable to do. Remote has gone through 4 sets of batteries in 4 weeks. However, the Roku itself works fine.

After being called a luddite by my college age sons, I purchased the Roku Streaming Stick. Simple and very easy to install and setup. We now get Netfilx on the TV and my kids don't think I'm technologically challenged!

The Roku stick works great! I bought this specifically to watch Plex. Easy to set up and all of the other channels/apps are a bonus. I also have a Chromecast and if I could only have one it would be the Roku stick.

I had a computer hooked up to my tv to watch online video. I got frustrated by the logon time and clunky remote / keyboard. Then I hooked up Roku. Fast easy and inexpensive. Amazing! Never going back to computer again.

Bought on sale for great price.Set up right away very easy,no problems. One thing to keep in mind is this needs to be plugged in. Another great buy at best buy.

This streaming stick has tons of features. If I were to nitpick about it, I would say that it is a little slow and when I use the Watch ESPN app on it, it lags behind my Amazon Fire Stick. Having said that, it does screen mirroring from my laptop, so that's a plus. I can stream sports off my laptop to my small TV in my kitchen, and keep up with the game as I'm cooking dinner or cleaning. Overall, it's a good product. I like the Amazon Fire Stick just a tad bit more, but if you're a Roku person, this will definitely do the job,

I bought this Roku Streaming Stick to plug into a bedroom TV that doesn't have cable, and I unplug it to take it to work with me from time to time if I want to watch something at work. It works just like my Roku 3, except it takes longer to load, and doesn't have a headphone jack on the remote. I would recommend it for those who are wanting to pay less for the Roku experience and for people who want to take the Roku with them to different locations.

We absolutely LOVE the Roku Stick! When I bought it, I didn't realize we had to plug it in for power. A friend led me to believe it wouldn't be connected to any wires but there is one for power. The remote is very tiny so it's lost pretty often but that's user error. It's kind of strange that you never turn it off but it's also very convenient! I love that I can play PBS shows from it. My 14 month old is obsessed with Sesame Street so having it a few clicks away at any time is awesome! I love the interface for Netflix. Much smoother and faster than when we were using our bluray player or Xbox. I always have trouble with YouTube using the Stick but I guess I'll just stick to using my MacBook for that. It's not really a big deal.
