I needed something simple to streamline shows I like to watch and didn't want to purchase a DVD player for that,this product is great.

Got this for my extra bedroom and it works great! I can't tell the difference between the stick version and the more expensive version.

Very easy to use. I purchased this for my 5 yr old grandson & once it was set up with his favorite shows he was able to easily use it.

I use mainly for Netflix and Amazon Prime. Netflix seems to load much slower -- not certain, but I think it is them not the ROKU.

I bought this to replace my netgear tv box. I'm much more satisfied with the roku. Much more user friendly.

I bought it because Consumer Reports gave it a really good rating in my desire not to have to pay for so many cable channels in order to watch something when I have the time to enjoy it. And I really resent having so many channels on cable to pay for in order TO be entertained with the few of them I even WANT to watch. It's a good alternative to cut back on my cable bill.

This will be my 3rd rook i have bought in the last 5 years and not because they have issues but because i keep buying new tv's and i can't live without my roku! yes most tvs have apps but the remotes suck and the roku remote is so simple and easy to navigate. Love all the apps, especially Amazon, Netflix, and Hulu!!! if you are deciding between this device and amazon fire or Apple tv (which i have, and love too) I would totally choose the roku because you get more bang for the buck and its never failed me!!!!
