For anyone who wants to get away from the high cost of cable, I recommend they consider a Roku. Its affordable. Its extremely easy to use. It installs in minutes (if that). And one of the best parts is that you have a really huge selection, from movies and TV series, to educational channels to watch. You decide. I've recommended the Roku to several people. They bought one, and all use it now.

When I bought the stick, it came with a month of showtime for free which was nice. There are some "apps" that don't run as smoothly on this device or take a long time to load well. I also had an issue with my remote unsyncing with my streaming stick. I read the faqs on the Roku page to "fix" the issue including replacing batteries, using the button in the battery casing to reset as well as factory resetting the device. If those all fail, Roku recommends using an extender, which they will send you for free!, if you still have issues. For the most part it, getting the extender fixed my issue, but I still have to reset my remote a couple of times a week which is relatively easy. I'm not sure if this is a faulty remote or some other issue, so I didn't dock a star for it, but it is an issue for me. I've been happy with the Roku stick and have already recommended it to friends. The quality is amazing, and the options of content to stream seems endless.

This Roku stick was easy to setup and use. I use it in conjunction with my Slingbox. Has many great apps for viewing free TV.

Great product. Easy to set up. More content than you can shake a stick at. Fast streaming. Probably gonna do away with cable.

Love the device to watch movies from Netflix, Feeln and Amazon! It is a great device for many shows!

I wish I had this years ago before I purchased my Smary TV. I would have saved hundreds of dollars and had a better quality.

I've been wanting to by the Roku system for a while I wanted the Roku 3, but did not want to pay the $100 price. This one was half the price, a lot smaller and had basically the same feature (minus a couple). The only thing I really hate is having to type a search with the remote, you have to scroll and pick one letter at a time. Other than that, this is a great item, better that a smart TV. Also, I don't have to hook up my computer to the TV to watch online movies anymore, just turn the TV on and you are set.

Device functions well. I have 2 other models of Roku in my home and the Roku Stick streams the same programming. Compact for my small TV on a tight shelf space because doesn't take a space on the shelf , doesn't need a power cord to an electrical outlet. It's powered through the TV's USB port.

I purchased this as a gift for my sister for Christmas and she loved it! Easy to install and perfect for her wall mounted tv

My daughter loves that she can get you tub on it. We like the fact that we can take it with us.

I needed my laptop and the Roku to do the setup. Directions were straightforward and though it took some time there were no real showstoppers. Item works fine and surprises you with some of the things that it can do. I avoided a second set top box and watch everything I want to.

We purchased the roku stick to use camping and watching sporting events outside. It works GREAT!
