This Roku Streaming Media Player Device is a great, affordable option for anyone looking for a media player device. It functions just as well and about the same as the other Roku devices, specifically the Roku 1, Roku 2, and the Roku 3 media player devices. This device is comparable to the Google Chromecast and the other Roku media player devices.

I have to reboot the stick a lot. Not really compatible with ARRIS cable modems.

I bought this Roku to replace my old set top roku when I moved. I like the fact that the stick is not visible, however sometimes the remote does not catch as fast as I would like. If roku could improve on the remote reaction speed, if buy another stick.

I've had my ROKU for about a month now. I have always wanted one of these to stream NETFLIX to my TV using my WIFI but to my surprise, it has so much more to offer. Not only is it compact and easy to install on a TV with an existing HDMI port, but it also offers so much more than just Netflix. You are able to login to Hulu Plus, select from a variety of existing stations and watch favorite TV shows. There is also an option to search for actors, movie names, genres, and the ROKU will guide you as to which movies and tv shows the actor has appeared in, and what application to use to watch it, whether it be NETFLIX, Hulu Plus, Amazon, Redbox Online, Blockbuster. Then you either have an option to purchase it for rent, or watch it if you have an account with those different streaming networks. There is also an option to link a smartphone or computer to the ROKU. It allows you stream youtube videos you are watching on either device directly to your television. There are so many other options and I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Picture is great and I use it all the time to catch up on my shows on Netflix and other free movie apps.

Worth every penny! The Roku is an inexpensive quality product. Was pretty much plug and play! We set this up for streaming Amazon Prime and Netflix and it was so easy! It is also out of site so it makes the TV smart without being seen! NO NEED to buy a smart TV, this thing is smarter! Awesome device!

The Roku Streaming Stick is a great buy and for me has done the job of giving me a bigger choice of movies and tv series. The first thing I did with the Roku was take the 30 day Netflix free trial and I will definitely be continuing it. You must remember that while Netflix is a certain price per month, in the other available sites you may have to pay for a movie, etc. Eventhough you may pay, the price is very reasonable in most cases.
