Allowed me to stream Netflix to older flat screen. Awesome value and great picture quality.

Wanted to try Netflix but couldn't because my TV was not equipped for it. The salesman at BB suggested the ROKU as an inexpensive way to make my TV receive streaming channels. So for it works great. Not only do I receive Netflix but hundreds of other channels if I desire.

Awesome, no need for cable. I've saved over $150 after buying this product.

Had to return the first one. Replaced no hassles. Second one working great.

I purchased this for my mom and day who are not very tech savvy they already had Netflix and other streaming services available through their Samsung tv but couldn't figure out how to use them. This device has very simple installation and is very user friendly. I have Apple TV and I hve to say that is device has a much better selection of predownloaded apps for streaming and is something I am considering buying for myself.

I didnt think it would be but the roku is so convenient and so easy to use.

plugs into the tv and gives me all the features of tivo without extra cords and taking up space.

This is the third Roku I have bought, for three different TVs. We originally bought it as a way to watch Netflix, but we also use it almost as much for a different purpose, watching BBC News, CNN International, Al Jazeera English and EuroNews. The news channels are thanks to the Nowhere Man, who has various private channels, but they are also thanks to the fact that Roku allows private channels, so individuals can make available subject matter that would not be possible for a profit making organization. The new Roku works smoothly. Closed captions are now available, a real plus. Everything works as it should. I usually control it with the Roku iPhone App, which works even better than the remote that comes with the unit. In short, there is not much more to say than that it does what it should and is a very useful tool is expanding TV and movie choices.

Owned the Roku 2 in the past. This roku is pretty awesome. I own two of them, and use them quite often. I did have one break after only about six months, but at $50 I didn't mind replacing it. Quite extensive channel selection. The PLEX App is fantastic if you know what you're doing.

This Roku is tucked away in the HDMI connector on back of the TV. The stick plugs in and gets power externally. Being an existing Roku owner all I had to do was enter my Roku id and got all my channels. I have a smartphone so used the ROKU application to enter my id and password using the keyboard rather than the data entry and remote that came with it. Extremely satisfied with the streaming and have had no problems with buffering.

Netflix needs some newer shows. works well and easy to use and understand.

Works every time. Lots of things to watch. Plugging it in kind of stinks, but is manageable.
