If you don't mind downloading the App & using your phone or a tablet as a remote, it's great. Otherwise I'd not recommend it. The remote is a joke. Constantly needing to re-link/activate it and the buttons just plain don't work. Granted, I haven't tried customer support yet regarding this, but am fairly tech savvy and the remote just looks & acts like junk. Maybe they would replace it & maybe they made improvements, but I haven't tried asking yet. Just using my phone for remote & I do like everything else about it. Easy set up. Great streaming on Hulu, Netflix, & Amazon. Still need to explore other channels.

I got the Roku to travel with because hotel cable is so iffy. Loved it so much bought more for the TVs at home. The remote could be better and unfortunately since it's RF it does not work with my Harmony remotes.

This is so easy to use its being used by a relative in her nursing home room.

After plugging in my Roku we were able to start streaming programs quickly and without delays. The set up was easy but delayed due to me not wanting to put my credit card info in the system. You get to a point in the setup that ask you to put your credit card info in and you cannot go any further until you do. I called Roku support and it took 30 minutes than they gave me a code to use.

Simple and easy to use, I would recommend this to anyone.

Bought this for my aunt who wanted to be able to stream Netflix and Hulu on her TV. She already had wifi in her house, so it was easy to set up the stick - just plug it in to the TV and set up a Roku account for her and then just type in her Netflix and Hulu passwords. The stick is battery-powered I guess, but you can set it up to always be plugged in to the included charging cable (I recommend that if you want to set it and forget it). If you want more than just the basics I would get more beefed-up Roku devices, but this is great for a low-end user who just wants a few streaming channels.

It is awesome! I love it, my kids love it. We are going to buy another one.

Second one purchased. Both are great. Saves from paying extra for smart tv.

Works perfectly , and have many useful apps , used most for my living room !!
