I bought this for my garage tv. It's an older tv so I bought this Roku to give it some more life. Instead of bringing a DVD player or gaming system into the garage, I bought a Roku. The Wi-Fi picks up the Roku easily and hasn't lossed connection once. For the price, it's good enough to keep a tv alive a bit longer. The remote somehow turns on the TV and the Roku. I don't know why or how, but it did this by itself. The Roku responds well and setting up accounts is a breeze. Sucks that Spotify doesn't work at the moment but that's not the Roku's fault.

Great product ! Easy setup and fun. I was not interested to watch the cable so that I didn't want to buy the cable contract. Web-TV was good enough and more fun. This products met my expectation. Price was really reasonable and changed my life after got this. Really recommend it to the folks who have the thoughts what I have. You can enjoy YouTube with big screen with your TV. Have Fun !

We have purchased 3 Roku devices and own 2 other TV’s with it already built in. The Roku stock is easy to use and automatically makes a regular tv a Smart TV. I especially like the voice feature. I press the microphone and say the name off the App. It switches to that specific app. As a bonus, we are Spectrum subscribers and the App is included. Therefore, we can watch cable TV on all of our TV’s.

Even if you have a "smart TV", the Roku is a great upgrade because it is responsive (fast loading and switching apps), it's small and easily hideable behind a TV (especially in the streaming stick variant), and it allows me to stream live Xfinity TV and access my DVR saved shows. Also the remote allows me to control my TV as well. Very convenient. All for about ~$30!

I initially bought an Amazon Firestick but didn't do my research carefully enough and found out too late it's not compatible with Spectrum TV. Roku works just fine with Spectrum, was easy to set up and you can also watch Amazon Prime. Note that you do have to create a Roku account and input a credit card number to make it work but you can set a password to prevent anyone making unauthorized charges through the device. The remote could do with a serious redesign but no problem with functionality.

Bought for my parents for a second TV. They have a ultra in the living room so it was an easy choice. Really easy to use!

I bought this so I could connect my TV with AT&T TV. It was ridiculously easy to install and I like the additional control buttons on the remote compared to the more basic model. AT&T TV works differently through Roku than it does through the ATT box, so it takes little adjustment, but it's working great for what I use it for.

This is the second of these Roku sticks I've purchased. We've had ours for 2 years & I purchased this one as a Christmas gift for my sister. Its a great, inexpensive streaming device. It is prone to overheating sometimes, so I'd recommend connecting it using a separate HDMI cable to distance it from the heat of your TV.

Great streaming box. Allows you to set up your tv to turn on and off (and volume) fairly simply. Has all the Roku apps as you would expect. A few cons, the remote has buttons that go to certain apps which is great if you use the app (like Netflix) and useless to annoying if not (espn+). The ability to reprogram them would be neat. The initial setup takes a while (especially when compare to an amazon fire stick). Once you get it going very intuitive and easy to use. Knocking it to 4 for the price (especially for no 4K).

I am late to the Roku phenomenon, but, I really enjoy this product. It worked great right out of the box, plugged right into the usb port on my tv (I understand that means it boots up each time my tv boots up as opposed to if it is plugged directly into a usb wall plug). The remote does seem to burn batteries pretty fast but otherwise I can't believe i missed out for so long on this!

I️ do like the roku. I️ just wish that the Best Buy would have explained a little bit better what it did. It basically does what my ps4 does so it was kind of a waste of money for me but could be beneficial to someone that doesn’t have a gaming system.

Long time Roku user, since 1st gen. The remote is what makes this a must buy. I don't need 4k (yet) so settled on the stick. The integrated power button and volume means no more remote juggling, just one remote to rule them all!. Super easy to setup (guided) and programming was under a minute. Buying another to upgrade all of my Roku's. So genius it should be standard.

Roku Review So yea, like the summary says it's good for streaming. No lag, but I do have very fast internet. I gave 4 stars because the cord isn't very long. You might need an extension to plug it in or you can plug it in to a cable box via USB. The bigger issue tho was it doesn't seem to universally fit every TV, that is the stick and power cord together. At least it didn't fit mine without having to swap USB ports and I still had to force the power cord, wedging it almost. Felt like I was going to break the stick.

I love this product. I have basically all current popular media players and this one holds its own against Apple TV and is way better than any fire tv device.

I bought the Roku streaming stick to begin the process of getting rid of my way-too-expensive cable. In just a few minutes it was set up on my TV and I was easily able to access my streaming services--DirectTV NOW, HBO NOW and Netflix. I love that Roku can be synced to the TV to turn it off-on and adjust the volume. Now only one remote is needed. Very happy with my purchase!

It works great. One 9f the fastest roku and with the remote having the ability to control TV volume and power, it is an awesome way to turn an old TV to new.

The Roku Streaming Stick installs in approximately 2 minutes. Then enter your Logins for Sling, Netflix, Hulu, etc. You are now streaming. Wonderful product.

The Roku streaming product is so easy to install, even a child could do it. The remote is simple and intuitive. It would allow you to reduce, or eliminate your cable Service. There are an unlimited number of free, or reasonably priced channels. I highly recommend Roku. Even if you keep your cable, you can have the best of all worlds by adding streaming channels.
