The other apps aren't really impressive and it does not have a spotify app (due to spotify's making changes) but I like it and it works really seamlessly with my TV.

Roku works for streaming internet content

Spectrum (Comcast) required Roku or a couple of other devices to stream content. I selected Roku for the low price. It's not complicated but a little awkward until you get used to it.

I don't know if it's the wifi or what. But it heats up a lot and I get a message on the screen too often. It shuts off on it's own. Frustrating.
