I debated for some time "cutting the cable" and, based on my son's good experience with Roku-streaming and the fact that my cable provider raised prices yet-again, I thought "now's the time". The Roku stick & remote are so easy to install and connect. It helps to have your cell phone or laptop at-the-ready and--thusly-equipped--you'll be streaming in short order. I have one "smart" TV (which connects via WiFi) and two older TVs which are connected via Roku streaming sticks. I could not be more pleased with the ease-of-installation and navigation of all the media choices that come with Roku. I will soon be purchasing the Roku model that comes with RCA cabling for and older TV in our basement family room that does not have a USB port. Roku seems to offer a model to meet all types of connectivity. It is a quality product at a fair price (and 'streaming' is easy) I don't miss my cable.

Its my 3rd unit for the house. I have one on every tv in the house. I replaced cable TV with these streaming units.

This Roku sticks is great! I love how easy is to maneuver from the different streaming apps. Works well with TV and has a clear picture! The volume/mute buttons on the side make it easier too! Booted the cable bill and so happy these work so well!

I love this device. We had the roku TV at my fiance's last place and were eager to get this when we moved out on our own. It works like a dream. It's so convenient to watch Hulu, netflix, amazon prime, and even youtube from my tv. We even bought a second one for the tv in our bedroom.

This has really helped with our switch to streaming our TV viewing. Purchased 3 more after initial purchase of one.

The Roku is a fantastic way to stream many different products / channels. Ease of set up and use for anyone to use.

I use the Roku Streaming Stick to stream Netflix, Amazon Video, and DirecTV NOW app. The design is ultra-compact and the stick is affordable. The remote controls the TV volume and power. Responses are pretty fast. The home menu is customizable yet a bit dated in appearance. The Voice search function works well. bottomline: if you don't care about 4K or HDR streaming, the Roku Streaming Stick is the best player on the market.

I love this Roku, its also a tv remote. The streaming is fantastic and I love that I can use it as my primary remote for the TV. I cut the cable last year and have been trying many different streaming options. I have found that the Roku stick is a great option. I will get this for all my TV’s

I've got the Roku sticks on my TVs, now, even though they're smart TVs! It's easy to use and, once set up, you can enjoy streaming from the Roku station or any stations to which you subscribe (I have Hulu, Amazon, Netflix and HBO). The price is great for a device which makes your life easier.

I decided to cancel my subscription to a satellite provider to save money. I finally got up the nerve to go to Best Buy and purchase this Roku stick. It was very easy to install on my TV. I started watching the free programming available, but had trouble with any movie/show I was watching stopping to buffer. At first I thought I had made a mistake by purchasing the Roku, but then I realized that I had connected my Roku to the Wi-Fi connection that my phone uses, which is not as fast but has a wider reception area. Once I switched the Roku to the 5G connection, watching anything through the Roku looked as good as a disc or my satellite provider from before. So when you set up your connection, make sure you connect your Roku to your 5G (or faster) connection. I have since gotten a Hulu account and do not miss paying so much for TV programming. I ended up buying another Roku for the TV in my kid’s bedroom as well. This is definitely a great product if you are thinking about cutting cable/Dish/Direct.

The Roku device works well as an option to cut the cable or satellite. It has a feature to sync remote to tv for volume and power so you only need 1 remote. For some reason ours seems to suck batteries even if it is not being used. Not sure why that is happening. But overall it is a good product.

This device is very fast. And offer great WiFi connection. Lots of channels

Wanting to unplug from the satellite service and be the master of my own universe, the Roku was recommended by some friends. I'm not super tech-savy, but WOW, instructions on-screen walked me through each step effortlessly. Fast, easy and now enjoying many options for movies and TV.

Works great! Cancelled DIRECTV and got DIRECTV Now for a fraction of the price and an antenna for local channels.

I needed to get rid of my cable provider, and I had just purchased a Roku TV for my mom as a gift. I loved it, so I decided to give this stick a try before making a much more expensive purchase on a bigger and better Roku TV for myself. This passed the test with flying colors. Aside from the fact I don't get my local sports channels (MSG), the quality and cost are both great. I highly recommend this product as an alternative to cable, or just having it in general.

I love Roku. I've had both Roku sticks and Firesticks, and the Roku is better. It has a cleaner interface, it's easier to use, and easier to set up and organize your apps the way you like them. Great purchase!

I bought this for my parents after they canceled their satellite TV. They could not be happier. The installation took 10 - 15 minutes and was super easy. The remote control is easy to use. Having one remote keeps things simple for them. I would buy this product again.

Works very good. You can easily add apps this was my second and third Roku and will be getting rid of cable soon

It does have a learning curve, but is pretty easy to use and get used to.

I decided to upgrade when this went on sale. Power button on the remote is an added bonus. Very easy to program.
