Does the Job, But Has Some Problems.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.During a time when my primary steaming device, a PS3, was down, I decided to get the Roku Stick so I can still stream services like Netflix, Hulu and CrunchyRoll. While this device does offer these services (and more), there are quite a few issues with this device that prevent me from recommending it. The first issue I have is the remote. While I do like the fact that I can control my TV volume and power with one device, I wish there was an Input button to change sources. Also, there are four buttons preset for different services... Only two of which I use. I really wish these buttons could be reassigned to do something else, especially since I'd they're accidently pressed, they can close out the program you're in. It's annoying. As for the device itself, while it is functional, there are some glaring issues. It seems to take a freakishly long time for it to connect to my home wifi connection from power up...almost 5 minutes from turning the TV on. This might be because I have it connected to my TV USB port and it turns on when the TV turns on, but still, it takes an absurdly long time to connect. Also, every so often, it freezes up and does not reply to any commands. So yeah, while the Roku Stick is nice, I won't recommend it.

Good Roku stick
