I returned my fire stick for the roku stick and I am 100% satisfied! Here are the reasons: #1 one remote that can control the power and volume of the tv! I don’t need extra space on my nightstand for a second remote control. #2 YOUTUBE! I watch a lot of YouTube videos and I understand why fire stick doesn’t let u download the app directly. But I don’t appreciate that. Roku solved the issue. #3 More app options for media. I found the xfinity app through the channel library and now I’m able to watch live tv without a cable box or an antenna. Awesome! #4 easy navigation! Especially with the roku app on ur smartphone it makes browsing contents and typing in words extremely easy!

We have this in our bedroom. We can control the the whole tv with the Roku remote. Very convenient not having to use two remotes to turn the TV on, change the volume, and pick something to watch. Very satisfied.

We switched over all the TVs in the house to streaming and though we tried the Amazon Fire and Apple TV, we ended up using Rokus on all TVs. This one is the easiest and the remote has on/off and volume control plus voice activation.

Works fast but having to put in a weird password for each channel is a bummer

Roku was easy to install and set up. Wi-fi connected with no issues. It was also easy to add Netflix, Prime videos, and stations from Verizon FIOS. Took the Roku on vacation, and it adapted to the different TV and wi-fi network perfectly.

Shopping for a Ruko, then the Ruko 3800r is the one to buy. If you must have 4K, then buy the one for almost twice the price. The 3800r does a great job streaming. It powers your TV on and off and it has a built in volume control. Great item.

This device is much improved over my last ROKU. Volume control, voice response, and TV off-line provides the missing needs of the new products. Would definitely recommend. Besides, BestBuy had this version on sell for Cyber Monday.

This device has changed the way i watch TV forever. If you do not own a roku stick, you have to try it. Roku has taken basically every channel on the internet, and made an easy-to-use and customizable format to view your favorite content. I also have a 4k version of this device, which i use on my samsung smart tv. Even though my smart tv has access to the internet, the roku platform and format is much much better and easier to use. The roku stick streams programs faster and more seamlessly. Its tiny and fits behind my tv perfectly. It has a usb power source, so i dont even have to plug it into a power outlet. I've owned it for over 2 years and never had any issues with it.

Hooking up Roku and Hulu and getting rid of cable and saving a lot of money.

Have multiple Roku Premiere streaming media players in our home. Thought we would upgrade and get one of these for our main TV. Easy to install and set up. Comes with better remote than the Premiere model. Internet connection is also better. Supports tons of apps. Best Buy had best price.

Long time Apple TV user. Spectrum conversion to digital meant either paying for a box or a Roku. Pretty pleased with the Roku experience, works well and has been rock solid thus far. If you need a cheap streaming device, I'd recommend.

I have cut my cable bill in half and still have over 150 channels. These are real channels. Not music channels or infomercial channels. The reception is outstanding and I also get a lot of free apps through Roku and I can get Netflix,vudu,prime etc if I want to sign up for them. You lose a little on the recording end but I have been able to record everything that I have wanted so it has not been an issue with me. I have found that the combo of the $60 psvue package and the $20 philo pckage give me everything I need on TV. In fact I could probably go to the $50 psvue package and the $16 philo package which would mean more savings. The Roku was so easy to install that I was amazed. cut your cable bill by going with this product. I have already recommended it to family and friends.

Good price. Easy to set up and use. Wish I would have bought this years ago.

Easy to instal and use. Do know that you will be paying for each individual service once you are using it if you want access to prime content.

Anyone who knows me knows they would never ask me to set up anything that is remotely of a technical nature, TVs, computers etc. However, I decided I would cut the cord and stream. I reviewed different options and decided to get the Roku. I set it up myself within an hour and must admit I was confused at first but figured it out easily. So for anyone who is considering this, go ahead and do it as if I can do it anyone can. Easy to use and works great.

The Roku stick was very easy to setup and did not take very long. I was pleasantly surprised to know it has a volume and mute button on the side, along with a voice recognition to open apps!

This is my second Roku, but the first stick. I'm so blown away with this product. Very well conceived functionality. Very easy setup, and has worked flawlessly. I have officially cut the cable cord and am loving it.

This stick takes the place of cable. It is excellent in my guest bedroom.
