Good product but short lifespan

The Roku interface is easy enough to work with and supports all the apps we need. I recently purchased this one to replace one that died in less than a year. These devices seem hit or miss where some last years with no problems and others die in less than a year. They also seem t eat batteries up.

Great, but...

I feel like the remote should have more buttons catered to apps like the Xfinity or DirectTV NOW. For instance: there should be a guide button. It works but it’s clunky. Hopefully Roku could provide an alternative remote that would make these types of apps easier to use. The minimalism of this remote is functional just not enough.
