This Roku Streaming Stick was purchased to replace one that had worn out. We now have four Roku Streaming Sticks and will not go back to using the Spectrum cable boxes.

So my fathers smart tv went through an update and like half of his apps were completely wiped from the App Store, so I suggested a USB for them. I came across the ROKU streaming stick and found out that not only did they have what the tv was lacking, but even add ons and extra apps, including free movie streams :) father is extremely satisfied with it.

If you have a not so smart tv This is the going to be the best way to smarten it up easy to install and pretty small works great

Works as described. Lightweight and portable. Convenient to be able to take from room to room if you don't want to buy a Roku for each room in the house with a tv. Bare in mind if you're buying this solely for traveling due to its portbility...most hotel TVs will have a HDMI port that you need in order to plug the roku into it. However, unless the tv remote or buttons on the tv itself allow you to access the source menu or input menu you will not be able to toggle between regular tv and your roku once plugged in. Hotel TVs, or hospitality models as they are known, tend to eliminate the ability to access the source or input menu as they do not want you to be able to use external devices and instead purchase their pay per view films.

Roku has been added to our home for some of the TV's instead of using the PlayStation interface. They're quick easy & useful. Definitely prefer the one with the volume button on the side.

I wasted my first purchase on chromecast. which did work but not very well. The quality of the picture I get on the ROKU is far superior, does not stutter, voice matches mouths. This is my choice between the two.

Excellent streaming device. Especially for 3 reasons. 1) very simple layout so easy to use 2) remote also controls on/off for TV 3) voice control button

Definitely recommend for spectrum users. Easy to use and navigate. If it doesn't come with an extender, I would recommend getting one so the Roku does not overheat being directly plugged into your tv.

The Roku Streaming Stick was a great purchase. It is much faster than the Fire Stick and easy to navigate. I am currently using the Xfinity Stream app and I was able to get rid of my cable boxes. Saved about $30 a month.

simple set up and easy to use. Functions exactly as advertised.

Pro: Requires no surface space, remote controls TV power & volume, performs well for the price. Con: Needs room around TV's HDMI port or a dongle cable, overheats occasionally.

I had the roku without the volume and tv power and it was a pain. I bout this one and I love it it’s perfect. Now I just need to replace the other one. Well worth the extra cost.

I own both the Chromecast and the the fire stick and this is probably my favorite out of the 3. The interface is user friendly, the device itself is responsive but the best feature about it is the fact it can control the power and volume. It may seem like a small thing but have it makes such a big difference it's hard to go back to my firestick now

We use the Roku in our motor home while traveling. Works great for Netflix, etc. We enjoy being able to watch our shows just about anywhere! Easy to install and use - the voice remote is excellent!

Easy installation in your T.V and usefull for getting the apps.

Works well on TV's that do not have this feature already built in. Opens up a new world of On line of free & subscription based TV viewing. Product is easy to install and simple to set up. One must have Wi-Fi in your house to work best. The Roku stick that came with the remote is what I have and it works very well . Without this product I would have to buy an expensive TV package thru Direct TV or Synchrony but with this I can buy tv shows a la cart. One will discover a whole new world of Tv programing outside the usual big name channels . It turns your regular Tv into a smart Television .
