Great Buy

It is much faster than the Fire Stick and easy to navigate. I am currently using the Xfinity Stream app and I was able to get rid of my cable boxes. Saved about $30 a month.

This one has volume control and will turn the TV off as well as has a dedicated button for Hulu and Netflix so I don't have to scroll to find them.

Convenient to be able to take from room to room if you don't want to buy a Roku for each room in the house with a tv. Bare in mind if you're buying this solely for traveling due to its portbility...most hotel TVs will have a HDMI port that you need in order to plug the roku into it. However, unless the tv remote or buttons on the tv itself allow you to access the source menu or input menu you will not be able to toggle between regular tv and your roku once plugged in. Hotel TVs, or hospitality models as they are known, tend to eliminate the ability to access the source or input menu as they do not want you to be able to use external devices and instead purchase their pay per view films.

Streaming done right

Setup was extremely easy, the menu is user friendly and the remote work on the tv as well. Highly recommended.

Much better than Chromecast

The quality of the picture I get on the ROKU is far superior, does not stutter, voice matches mouths. This is my choice between the two.

Great 4k Roku

Puts out a very good 4k picture with plenty of apps to use if you wanted to cut your cable cord. There's never a shortage of stuff to watch from their app store.

Opens up a new world of On line of free & subscription based TV viewing. Product is easy to install and simple to set up. One must have Wi-Fi in your house to work best. The Roku stick that came with the remote is what I have and it works very well . Without this product I would have to buy an expensive TV package thru Direct TV or Synchrony but with this I can buy tv shows a la cart. One will discover a whole new world of Tv programing outside the usual big name channels . It turns your regular Tv into a smart Television .

If it doesn't come with an extender, I would recommend getting one so the Roku does not overheat being directly plugged into your tv.

It comes with most of the channels I usually watch and gives the ability to add others. It is a low cost option for those seeking to cut the cord!

Works great for Netflix, etc. We enjoy being able to watch our shows just about anywhere! Easy to install and use - the voice remote is excellent!

Excellent streaming for cord cutters

The t has been two months and the Roku has been amazing. Great streaming speed, easy interface and tons of free apps. It does a fantastic job of with YouTube tv.

They're quick easy & useful. Definitely prefer the one with the volume button on the side.

Roku Streaming Better than Amazon Fire

I have found that Roku is more user friendly and the remote control device is more all inclusive. You are able to perform all functions, including volume with the remote control device. Good price for value.

fantastic for home or travel

The first one I purchased got too hot, so I returned and purchased another one. The second one does not have this problem. Set up is extremely easy. Have not had any issues with streaming speeds. Use it on HDTVs, and picture quality has been excellent. Great for travel.
