Bought this to make outside TV active. Worked great, easy to install, downloaded app. Perfectly clear tv without having to pay the cable company a fee for a box. Does free movies too.

I was always debating on getting a roku stick as I thought it perhaps was a scam to buy then have to pay to view, but that's not the case. Of course if you want to get in Netflix or Disney+ then you need to pay for membership which I get Netflix free with T-mobile and Disney+ free with Verizon. It's easy to setup even if you're not tech savy. The only catch is since the stick has to be connected to power outlet you either have to make sure you have an extra plug near your tv or it can be connected to your tv if it has a USB port which mine didnt.

Love the Roku stick. it's small enough were you don't see it pluged into the back of the TV and you don't have cords hanging everywhere you can stream all your favorite apps as well.

I'm definitely not a tech savvy person and after a month of research, the Roku stick with remote was the best choice for me esp bc I didn't want a cable box or satellite dish. I don't even own the latest TV. I have a 2012 Samsung 32" HDTV and was able to hook up the Roku to it with the easy to read, simple instructions. I can't complain about the remote; I happen to like the fact that it's a fairly simple remote that doesn't have 1000 of buttons that I have to look up in the manual to see what it does. The power button and volume synch with the tv so that you don't have to use the original remote that goes with the tv.

This was a fairly easy set up. I"m over 70, but figured it out. It's mostly for my husband's tv as his is an older model, but he, too, has learned how to work it. I like that it is the smaller stick than what I had in the past.

I am overly satisfied with this streaming stick. We have a Sharp Roku TV and Roku Express and this is worth the extra money over the express for sure. It’s way faster than my Sharp TV. I like that I was able to power it from the USB port on the TV and therefor hiding the stick behind the TV. I was also able to get it to control my TV power and volume but I had to do some research online and select a different TV manufacturer during the setup, So they could certainly do some more research and updates on the remote code. Would buy again, very happy for the price. Apple TV still the best but it’s like 5 times the price!

I am not a tech person so I need easy to hook up options. Roku is just that. Now I have unlimited viewing options for the whole family to enjoy. Exceptional product at an exceptional price.

We didn’t have a roku ready rv so this stick was easy to install and now I am able to watch netflix etc. and hulu live (that I pay monthly for). Saved so much cutting cord with cable.

This Roku is convenient for streaming Netflix and other services to a tv. I don’t have a smart tv so this helps a lot. It can also be used to turn the tv on and off and adjust volume.

I have a non Smart TV. I could mo longer stand watching regular TV. The commercials every five minutes are unbearable. I have Netflix and Amazon available now. That is more than enough. I have not watched TV for 20 years so I do not know how to operate the remote. I downloaded an app for free and I use that Roku app on my iPad. I tell it to find the series I am watching. It is voice activated which I imagine works on the regular remote as well as it has the microphone on it. I find remotes impossible to use . But Roku itself is great for me

This streaming stick makes connecting to the internet so easy. It is replacing my Xfinity cable box so now I don’t have to pay the rental any more. Set up was simple. Great purchase!

This is the 2nd Roku I have at home and I really like the convenience of this version. I like that I get to turn on my TV and adjust the volume all with only the Roku remote. I don’t stream many channels but it does the job for the ones I do and have had no issues with it.

I got this for my parents and it's much less manipulative then the Fire TV Stick. If you don't have Amazon Prime this is the way to go. If you want to uninstall the Roku Channel App then you can; unlike Fire TV which forced you to always have Amazon's Apps installed, even if you'll never use them. When searching for movies Roku brings up movies you own or have access to first, unlike the Fire TV which always lists Prime first. The one down side to Roku is by default they want your credit card info to make buying movies faster. There are ways around this but they don't explicitly tell you that.

Love my Roku. This has made it easy to convert my old non-smart tv into a smart tv. Easy to set up and use and they even have the Spectrum App so I can ditch one of my cable boxes.

The four devices I bought really is a game changer for our home. Fast, great access to content and easy to set up. I highly recommend ROKU to anyone wishing to cut the cord.

My wife and I have a total of eight televisions in our house. We read about the ROKU and decided to try it out. We found them to be easy to program using the online app and provide a quality picture and large variety of programs. Great product!!!!

Roku really did great with this upgrade. Love being able to control the tv with just one remote. No more recaung for a second remote just to turn on/of or change volume level.

I like the remote a lot, it has volume and power buttons. Although this has overheated on me a few times, guess we need to relax on streaming tv sometimes, but I think that's the deal with buying the bigger units is they can handle more usage.

Simple setup and easy to use. Has all the apps you would need for a TV that doesn't have any streaming capability on it's own. Just does what it's supposed to do and does it well.
