Christmas gift

It is a Christmas gift for my daughter. But I can say the salesman was very helpful at the store. He went above and beyond to help me find what I needed even outside of his department. Heard good comments about the product so that is why I purchased it.

Ok Device for Children
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this device so I wouldn't have to rent an extra box from my cable company for a child's room. The device works great with the Wifi and does connect to the cable, but the channels are limited. The devise also times out whenever it wants which causes the screen to go in sleep mode. There isn't a way to stop this. I haven't tried the device for other capabilities other than connecting it to the cable. But overall, I do not have to pay the cable company to rent their box

Great Access to More Movies & Shows

After returning. home, we missed being able to access some of these shows so bought a Roku for our home use. We now enjoy following some of these shows daily.

No need to ever have cable again with TONS of free programming from ABC, NBC, CBS and more that make it worth canceling your tv contract. Streaming capability is incredibly fast. And with the remote's short-cut buttons to Hulu and Netflix- makes it even faster to switch between programs.

Good upgrade from a DVD player with Wifi.

It worked pretty good but had issues with freezing picture and slow response to searching and changing viewing shows. Got Roku for another TV and discovered how much better streaming could work. Going to get another Roku and replace the DVD unit.

Good replacement for digital TV adapter
