The Roku Streaming Stick that we purchased works will for tv power and volume

Item works great with my older television. I got rid of cable and just use roku now. I installed several apps that let me watch the shows I’m interested in. The voice feature is great also on the remote. Very pleased with this purchase.

I am very pleased with my purchase. I would recommend it. Wish I would have got one sooner. There are So many more stations, channels and movies to watch. I've done Yoga, Zumba and various exercise videos. I would Highly recommend it.

This Roku Streaming Stick is far better than the old stick that I have owned for years. Better streaming speed is the greatest improvement. However, the remote will not pair with my Panasonic TV, itself some years old, and I miss using the Oppo remote as the Roku remote.

I purchased the ROKU stick and have found it to be very satisfactory for my needs. Streaming is easy and I am able to watch a wide variety of programming. I do have Amazon Prime Video, but am happy that I also have streaming directly through the ROKU channel. I am very satisfied.

Roku stick for tv is with no roku built in. Good for watching youtube.

If you have Comcast/Xfinity, this is the only streaming device that will let you watch your recorded shows, on demand, and all the features you would get from them for $10 a month! I got 3 of them on sale on Black Friday for $29.99 each. A great deal! Highly recommended! 15/5 stars!

cheap and easy device for streaming. no issues so far.

Got this roku stick while on vacation to use in hotel rooms. The main reason I chose this was due to the ease of use with hotel wifi which other devices have some issues with. Most hotel rooms don't offer 4k tv's some a more powerful unit would have been wasted. It worked wonderfully!

This works fine. But I cut cable and am using this now as my primary streaming device. The apps load a bit slow. Would be fine if used occasionally. But for $20-$30 more, I would get the Ultra if I were doing it again. Since Amazon Prime is not my go to service, the organization of the Roku works better for me than the Firestick. Also like ability to listen to TV audio on phone for after others are asleep.

Roku has been great so far. Alot less than cable and you can watch anything.

Got this to save my cable box rental fees. Way more channels on this than what I got from my cable company. Only drawback is the remote that lacks direct channel entry scan and search besides a TV volume and power buttons sorely lacking.

The black Roku streaming stick is one of the best and easiest to use streaming devices in its price range. Unlike the first generation stick (i.e. The purple one), this little device has a quad core processor that gives a smooth user experience and rock-solid 1080p video. Tons of channels available, a radio link remote (allowing you to hide the stick out of sight), and a simple user experience make this a no brainer.

The set-up is user friendly and easy to set up. I was watching TV in a couple minutes.

Good streaming media player. Some issues with battery life and remote.

Took only about 15 minutes to unpack the device, skim through instructions, install the stick on the TV and configure the TV to use Roku. Reception is excellent, although had streaming problems on this TV when we had 2 TV's both streaming the Rose Bowl game.

I chose the Roku streaming stick after the recommendation from the sales person at Best Buy. I have upgraded to a smart tv and removed cable from my house. I have a 60" flat screen tv that I did not want to be obsolete... therefore purchasing this streaming stick has been amazing!!

This year's stick is more capable using wifi and now also controls the TV's volume and power.
