Purchased to be used on auxiliary TV’s when cable company started going full digital and required converter box (and fee). Works great since my cable provider provides full streaming to the Roko synched to my router and cable subscription.

Bought it to make my non smart tv smart. It works well and has plenty of apps

I've owned the Apple TV (Gens 1,3,4), a Google Chromecast, and now 2 Roku Streaming Sticks. I'm happy to say the interface is clean, the apps easy to load and use. I would give it 5 stars, but the speed is not super snappy at boot up so that holds back a 5/5. Overall for the price you can't beat the remote and overall design is clean and easy to use. I'm using it in the office and garage tv's.

Working better than expected; was easier to get set up and running than I expected.

This little beauty has been a great addition to our entertainment package! We've had no issues, only use the apps that we need/have a subscription to, and the remote even controls our TV (which is nice, considering our TV is over ten years old).

We've owned 2 Roku sticks before, and they both worked extremely well at first. Eventually though, we began to notice that the batteries in the remote drained more and more quickly, to the point where it became unworkable. Brand new batteries could barely last a month in the remote.

Cut the cord went straight stream, super eazy setup and the interface is great

I have had rokus since roku version 2 many years ago. Love roku. I have 4 roku tvs myself. I bought this for my dad who is a truck driver to have in his truck. The only negative thing I have about rokus is they have a slower processor than say Apple tvs.

We were looking to end our high cable costs and this worked out just fine. One of the employees at Best Buy was so helpful that it made the decision extremely easy. We purchased one stick and after trying it out for a week we went back and purchased a 2nd one.

Absolutely one of the best buys I've made .... the Ruko stick has significantly reduced my cable bill since I used four of the cable company's boxes. Easy to install and still great reception from the cable company.

Bought this to go with an older set and it worked perfectly. I did have a little problem plugging the stick into the HDMI port since the older ports weren't designed to handle something this size. It would be nice if the stick included a swivel design to avoid that issue. That being said, the stick works wonderfully and the price really made it a no brainer.

Bought this to move forward and not need digital boxes with Spectrum Cable - they’re going App based and the Roku allows you to DL their App and access your cable channels over WiFi now! Without getting into the 4K world on the streaming we went with the 1080 HD stick for now! We’ll see in near future if the available bandwidth can catch up to every show & movie being streamed over 4K!

easy to install and use. i was able to cut cable and get all my news with the roku.
