My 4th Roku from Best Buy

Pretty Good

But there are still times where everything hangs up and the Roku decides to randomly restart in the middle. Otherwise good. Best part is the private listening. This allows us to have the TV on mute but plug in our headphones into our phone and hear the TV through the ROKU app while our baby sleeps soundly in our room.

Old TV just for movies

But we do like the occasional movie night. Roku is perfect for access to on-demand movies, and it works with a hand-me-down TV. I especially like how it hides in the HDMI port. No cables or clutter.

Has a few shortcomings that are more proprietary to other sticks, such as the inability to cast from a phone. But overall, a capable little stick - especially for your grandparents!

A Life-changing New Device

It can stream YouTube, Hulu, Netflix, and hundreds of other channels all for less than my (now cancelled) cable monthly fee of $55.99. Roku is much faster than Fire TV or Apple TV. I love my Roku!

It does what its suppose to do

This version is cheaper than the Roku Ultra so thats why I got it. The only thing I dont like about it is when you press the up button to view the guide or press the down button to view my library it does not continue to play what Im currently watching. It pauses it. Other than that it does the job.

Good streaming stick

This way I can connect my Bluetooth headphones when everyone else is sleeping, and still watch the video on my TV. However, sometimes the audio gets really out of sync and requires a restart. That's why I took one star off. It is otherwise a great device for streaming.

Provides a high quality streaming option

It works very well for those purposes. In fact, I have three TVs using Roku hardware for the same purposes.

Great for internet sports packages

Rather than just getting the cable NHL package that can only be seen on tv. Used to be able to see NHL on every device other than main tv, now can see on every thing. Looking forward to MLB package on Roku in spring.
