Great if you are cord cutting. You can customize your television to what you watch most. Although, I have noticed that sometimes when watching a program, towards the end of it, there is sometimes a hesitation then goes back to normal.

My favorite feature is being able to stream my cable providers app, which helps eliminate the cost of an additional box. Plus the access to all the other apps so that I can stream free movie and TV and rent or buy new and exclusive movie channels.

I love our Roku, however right now it gives us an error message every time we turn on our tv. We have tried everything suggested to stop this from happening, but it still does. All we have to do is unplug the Roku from the hdmi input and plug it in right away, and then it works fine. Still kind of a pain, though. We have another one in a different room that works fine.

Needed a means of streaming to an older Sony Bravia. Still has great picture but no apps. The Roku stick has a power cord that works off the TV's USB socket, really useful without stringing another extension cord.

I have an older “dumb” tv in a spare room. I used the Roku stick to allow access to Netflix, Amazon Movies and other Roku channels. A simple way to enable wireless network access to what was a “dumb” TV. Thanks to Roku, my old TV is now a little bit smarter.

I'm not very techno and had concerns about changing my old Roku stick for a new one. I needed a new stick in order to have access to additional streaming channels. I found installation to be easy and the TV picture seems brighter.

I really like the Roku because I canceled my cable tv, they kept raising the price. I like watching just the programs that I want. Also like that you can speak into the remote. This is the second I bought, because I wanted one in my bedroom tv.

I am what some would call "technically challenged" and the best buy associate assured me this was very easy to set up. It did not disappoint! I was shocked at how simple it was with no difficulties. Wish I would have gotten one a long time ago!

I have a 5-6 year old Samsung smart TV that I can no longer use as a smart TV because it's no longer supported so none of the apps work. So I bought the Roku to use on that TV. It's been great! Works well has all the streaming channels and apps u wanted.

As struggle to escape the wildly overpriced cable and dish services, I was advised to try an inexpensive Roku device. I can't believe all the programming and movies it makes available at little or no cost. I'm getting one for every TV in the house.

I love this updated Roku streaming stick as the remote now includes TV power and volume buttons along with Voice search functionality. I will be replacing all my 1st gen Roku sticks with this updated stick in the next few months!!!

It works decent for standard apps, like Netflix, but there is little support for other apps, like tv apps such as ABC. It also seems to get warm being constantly on even though it is off. Better than nothing though if you need smart services on a non smart tv

I love the roku it is so easy to navigate vs firestick.

The Roku is overall easy to use and set-up. It is great for a beginner.
