Buffers Most of the Time in My House

Unfortunately, HDMI1 is the only port that works with the Spectrum cable. If I want to watch TV, I have to plug the Spectrun cable into HDMI1. Then when I want to stream anything, I have toget behind my TV and remove the Spectrum cable from the HDMI1 port on my TV and plug Roku into HDMI1--a REAL annoyance. This Roku stick streaming stick buffers A LOT--every few minutes. The TV needs to be in the same room as your router, and very close to the router. My townhouse is tiny--only 1200 sq ft. There's no way to move my router closer. Roku sent me an adapter and that improved streaming a tiny bit. It's better than nothing.

Great streaming stick!

Really enjoy the interface, a lot more simpler to use than the fire stick. Has all the same apps and having the app hot keys on the remote is a plus.

Love my ROKU

Gives us the availability of something to watch without needing to have satellite. Just start up the hit spot and you're good to go. Works great.

Although not true for this unit, I've had a couple of Roku sticks die on us in the 3 years we've been using this, so manufacturing quality not brilliant.

This is perfect for anyone who doesn’t have a smart tv and wants to watch Netflix or if your are into foreign programs and want to watch them using Viki.

Cut the cord

Roku with a service for $35/month or $145/month for cable? Cut the cord and save some $$. The only downside is the slight learning curve for my family. $110/month = worthit

Roku Streaming Stick

A customer service rep at Spectrum explained that I could return my converter boxes and use the Roku instead. The set-up was quick and easy. I'm only giving 4 stars bc the remote dies not have numbers, therefore, you have to click/scroll through many channels to get to the one you want.
